Of course we should have started with a back three and Dembele instead of Son. But why do West Ham raise their game against us? Is there any history? I never had anything against them until I suddenly discovered a few years ago that they think we are rivals.

Their real rivals are rarely in the same division and we are the closest other London team to them. Plus they're jealous of us.

Really wish they'd dissapear off the face of the earth.

We deserved to lose that I'm afraid lacklustre performance all over the park
Kane alli will need a late night snack as they were completely starved
Walker was awful and I'm being kind to him
They deserved the win for sheer determination and that really sticks in the throat to say

But they only do it against us. I said at half time they would have been rolling on their backs having their tummy tickled by anyone else.

We were shit, no fight, no passion nothing in a game you need to be on to get something from it.... BUT look at us 2nd place in the league we need to remain proud... just hope we get that 1 point from these last 3 games to guarantee 2nd as if we don't get 2nd then we are legends!

No bottle jobs this year, we won 9 on the bounce with some great performances and late wins, poor tonight from a couple of players and not the greatest of days for Poch that's all.

Great season. Real shame about tonight, should at least of pushed Chelsea all the way and made them work for it.

Handed it over on a plate this evening.

West Ham played well but we never had enough tempo in our pressing, passing and off the ball movement tonight. Just find that bizarre really, we started so tepid and never got going at all.

Devastated but just didn't turn up today. West Ham deserved it.

Just hoping the season doesn't end in the same fashion as last season, otherwise we haven't progressed at all.

Can some one do a matrix of our results versus size of pitches? Basically it feels like the bigger the pitch the shitter we are.

Is she wrong? Who can we say played well tonight?
Difference between bottling something and not playing well. Bottling is another fucking media narritive. Load of old bollocks that idiots hear once and repeat and repeat and repeat ... Bottling something from behind ... Must have missed when we were in front.

Hope a proper summer break without poxy international duties might help the cause for 17/18.

When it comes to the real crush, wemlet ourselves down. Not when we are 13
Points off chasing down the lead, when it really really matters, something happens. We looked completely shell shocked tonight

People in this thread more interested in leaving funny ratings on posts and being sarcastic bellends than actually giving a shit about the result, I am talking about you @tiger666 you seem to take pleasure in it for some reason.

I made a perfectly reasonable post, Poch has already spoken out about the media targeting us for transfer rumours and you seem to think it's funny somehow? It's funny how in a game we could have put real pressure on Chelsea the entire week before in the media was dedicated to telling everyone how all our players are being sold, do you not see why that is utterly disgusting behaviour?

I am signing off, can't handle the twatish trollish behaviour tonight and I am in no mood to just ignore it, will end up getting myself a ban.

Im disappointed but not angry. We really werent that poor tongiht - just not able to steamroll a determined team playing to stiffle from the get-go. Its been a great season and we will get 2nd.

Jenas on the BBC:

Football can be very simple sometimes. You have 11 players on the pitch and the team that has more of those 11 turn up on the pitch usually wins. For West Ham all 11 players turned up. For Tottenham, I could not pick one player who put in a performance.

Totally agree.

I was thinking that watching the game, that this type of performance could have happened and did happen at Wembley. Seems like we hate being out of our comfort zone

West Ham are sitting in 9th and actually mugged us off. We were absolute shit and had no way past a defence that has shipped in shit loads against Arsenal City etc...
Wasn't even a lucky win we got out played and out fought by a side with fuck all to play for.
