Players one yellow card away from a suspension:

Carvalho, Pepe and Ramos love a yellow or two, I'm sure we can reel Ronny in aswell

Do we go away and set up like away against Milan, try and frustrate them and try and get a few of these players suspended? Then bring a weaker team back to WHL and beat them?

Interesting (though why only a part of your post has 'quoted' I do not know).
It kinda makes playing them look slightly less daunting:grin:

It's because he put the lists in a quote. When the site was updated Rob disabled more than one quote in a quote to save what we used to have.

Was just looking through the Bernebeu attendences in the Champions League, and they've not sold out once, and were still 4k under attendence against Milan. All those going should be alright for getting tickets :D

First season, at the Bridge we coined the phrase 'parking the bus' was 0-0. Lost 2-0 at the Lane.

Second season, we lost 1-0 at home bit unlucky and then lost 2-1 in the last minute (Gallas scored the winner) at their place.

Third season, beat them 2-1 Lennon getting the winner of course and lost one nil there in the middle of a crazy schedule. Carvalho long ranger.

We also played them in the cup in 06/07 drawing 3-3 and losing 2-1 in the replay. We as good as beat them at the Bridge, but Berba got injured, we bottled it and then Defoe hit the bar late on.

Off the top of my head. I thank you.

wasnt that last minute Gallas goal a long range one? Curled it in IIRC

According to other fan forums, we are "going to get raped" Eek

3 Questions:

How will I know?

Will I feel it?

and

Will it leave a scar?

That's pretty much the draw I'd have chosen. Guarantee one of Man U and Chelsea go out and set up a path filled with giants as our route to the final.

I know its a bit of a negative way of looking at it but.....Nobody really expets us to progress past madrid. We've had an excellent run, filled with memorable moments, from the young boys come back, the gareth bale hatrick, the return game vs inter, the Ac milan first leg. I mean come on.....What a ride! I'd love for us to progress but even if we dont, this has been by far the most enjoyable season to be a tottenham fan I've ever had. Harry, Levy and the players deserve to go off to a standing ovation no matter the score line after the two games.

I still think we can sneak it though, but I'd go as far to say they are the second best side left in the competition. After Tottenham Hotspur.

I've got a big soppy grin on my face thinking about it:)
What a fecking ride, apart from Bremen & Twente, who are no mugs themselves, we've pulled Inter Milan, A C Milan and Real Madrid in our first season what more could you ask? apart from Barca in the semi perhaps:), be honest it don't get much better than this.
I have this vision of us meeting Chelsea in the final at Wembley, and we all know what happens when Spurs play Chelsea in a final at wembley don't we:wink:

Champions league and we're 'avin' a laugh:grin:

This. Whatever happens, at WHL on the 12/13th of April, evelven heroes in White will walk off the pitch to an ovation that I've waited my life to give them. Proud of the boys whatever happens, I'm still nerviously optimistic.

I think we have a better chance than many think and I definitely think we could nick a goal out there.

Defensively we will have to be at our best though...Imagine if King comes back in to play alonside Gallas...now that would be interesting...

Yeah i am so happy with the draw, i wanted either Barca or madrid, and as it turns out we night yet get them both! I think we can do Madrid, we have to think positive and remember we are playing the team, not the history. madrid are an excellent side, but then so were Ac Milan. God i can't wait for this!
