Interesting news re. Klinsmann, what would people think if he did come back as Harry's sucessor? I wouldnt be against personally but he is inexperienced at managing day to day at club level.

I'd love to have Llorente but would we be willing to meet his wage demands ?

Of course they would! It would mean Bale dropping back to left back though I think or cover for VDV.

Marin is much more direct and more attaching than Modrić.

Couldn't agree more Nic, Marin is the perfect complement to Modric a Window of him Llorente and 2 other strikers would be amaing

Much rather have him than O'Neill or Moyes, but he's a risk I'm not sure Levy would take. I'd be pretty happy with Klinsie since he's extremely likeable, did well with Germany, and didn't actually do that bad at Bayern (although I'm not sure of Sherwood as #2), but he is a risk and I'd would rather have Klopp or Mourinho.

Klinsmann is a terrible coach. We really don't want him. I don't care how legendary he is. Notice how Bayern and the Germans both got significantly better without him.

Klinsmann would be Ossie all over again. All out attack fuck defending lol

no thanks, I want an experienced manager who speaks fluent English and has won afew things. Villas-Boas although not hugely experienced is very interesting too having worked closely with 2 legendary managers for a long time

What?.... Klinsmann speaks fluent English, has coached both Bayern and the national team, so has the experience.

So not Harry then?

Are you really suggesting that Klinsmann doesn't speak fluent English? Or is not an experienced manager?

I doubt Levy would even contemplate buying Parker unless it was at Redknapp's absolute insistence - and no way if he knew 'Arry would be off in a year.

Some decent players on the list.

No to selling Lennon.

agree..........

Lennon leaving would be a shocker, luv the guy!

As for the rest, yep they would probably be off.

i don't think our team needs that much tinkering tbh, we just need 2 really top goalscorers...spend all the money on real quality forwards, liverpool are shit but have been transformed by Suarez and to a lesser extent Carrol.

Klinsmann would be a massive gamble. He'd be a heart rather than a head option. If Harry leaves surely recent history will tempt Levy to play it safe, maybe with someone like Moyes. With all the stadium issue going on I suspect continutuity and stability are priorities.

I am sorry that is bollox, Germany wouldn't have the golden generation of talent had Klinsmann not overseen a top down reorganisation of the German footballing structure.

I don't know how a good a coach he actually is, but he is a man with a lot of vision, and the charisma to inspire people. OK, it didn't work out at Bayern, but that was largely due to a lot of people who had been there along time were dead set against his proposed revolution of the club, his fault ultimately, but Bayern is a pretty large ship to try and turn around and has a lot of egos.

He would be a gamble, for sure, but it would be an interesting ride.

Not so sure. If Spam go down he'll come on the cheap rather than play in the Championship and despite his award this season I don't see a huge demand for his services.

I think it'll be a mistake, but I can certainly see it happening.

As for Harry going, I think we are reaching the stage where Levy has to start asking Redknapp for assurances he is staying (not that I believe Harry would tell him if he was) but I think it's a sensible arse covering move.

Don't think we need the experience as much now, don't think we need anyone/cover in midfield as much now (thanks to the emergerce of Sandro, which has largely been an after January event), will have even less seel-on value now. Even says 'Arry really wanted him, so, without 'Arry will Levy want him? Don't think so.

I really can't see the Kilnnsman stuff being true, or the fact that Lennon is up for sale tbh.

I'm not buying into the rumour too much, but if Klinsmann came with Sherwood as number two, I imagine Klinsmann would be the visionary and Sherwood the man on the training ground. We have been steadily increasing Sherwoods influence over team affairs in recent years so it would make some sense, and it's not as if Harry is famed for his training ground work anyway is it?

I'm not saying I'd want Klinsmann by the way, but I do see the logic in it. I guess it would largely revolve around how good one believes Sherwood is.

It'd be nice if Klinsmann taught our players how to hit a bloody barn door for a start
