I had money on Gabbiadini to get the first goal. I had money on him to get the second goal. I gave up after that. I might have to not bet on him to get the next one as well.

Saint have been superb tbf.

Will feel for them when a bad call gives this game to United...

Amazing as based on his goal record in a poor Italian league, you wouldn't go near him. But you can just see that he's a brilliant fwrd and ideal for the prem. scouts are just so poor for most clubs

I really don't get the animosity toward Southampton on here, I think they are a really good club, very well run (scouting, recruitment, financially etc), really well coached (have been innovative with their recruitment), and have managed to to maintain those facets whilst losing shitloads really good players and coaches.

I can still see ManU winning this, especially if Southampton shell it, but I hope they win this, just reward for how they've gone about football the last 4/5 years.

I think he started off promisingly but just couldn't find the right club/time/style etc and his career was stalling a bit, it happens. It would be no good him signing for us for example because he wouldn't be as good as he is now, sitting on our bench being ignored by Poch.

Southampton might have the best FB pairing in the league after us.
