I'm less confident going into all our games without Kane so I'm not so sure of the 3 points against Southampton as others. Actually I think they're due a result against us but don't think we'll lose. Score draw.

Saints will be tough especially without Kane but the good thing is that for a start we still have our solid defence and protection in Wanyama and Dembele and secondly Saints won't come with the mentality of a lot of the lower clubs, they'll come to play a little too which will suit us. Plus they have defensive problems also, they did ship 3 goals against Watford after all.

There's goals all over the team. Son as a focal point works - we know that - his run of goals early on proves it - as does yesterday. I'm not too concerned if Kane is missing for a few games because our opposition aren't fantastic. Think we'll weather this reasonably well.

Everyone needs to relax. We're not a one man team - much better with Kane in it, yes. But it's not as if we're Man Utd and we just lost Ibra. ;):D We'll be grand.

Trippier - Son combo is a real winner. Son is a player who makes very intelligent runs, we need somebody on the pitch who can provide them. It won't happen but I wonder if Trippier is the better option at RB while harry is out?

We're certainly not a one man team but Kane is a force we will miss him.
It was great to see Janssen at last scored from open play. We have goal scorers in our squad team in Alli and Son as well potentially Eriksen and Janssen so we can still score and win games knowing our defensive record is great.

We conceded 3 in 5 without Kane earlier on in the season, think we'll be alright somehow defensively.
And considering our next three games are up against bottom level offenses I think we'll be okay.

We don't need to run every team like that over 4-0 everytime we face them. With Kane out the 2-0 will suffice.

These sorts of teams tend to be our weakness especially when they are fighting to stay up

I think, at worst, we may draw a game or two that would probably be a win with Kane in the team (sometimes his goals break the deadlock of a team parking the bus and will force them to come out.)

I think we will still make the top four if he is out for a long period but I also think that if he is in the side we would finish 2nd with the form he is in.

So yeah, either way I see us making the top four irrespective of his injury, our defending will make sure of that imo.

Since when? Our record against the small teams is generally very good.

Last 4 games of 2015/16 season we gained 2 points from a possible 12

Losing to Southampton and relegated Newcastle
And
Drawing with West Brom and Chelsea.

Home form against those 'little clubs' has often let us down.

Wouldn't have called Chelsea or Southampton a bottom level offence and wouldn't say that's the norm but okay.

This season, already we have drawn with Sunderland, Bournemouth and Leicester City

All in a relegation battle

Last season, these teams were facing the drop; Newcastle x2, West Brom and Swansea City(though after Custis got sacked they were fine)

The season before,
Burnley, Sunderland, Newcastle, Aston Villa and West Brom under Irvine
Wouldn't have called Chelsea or Southampton a bottom level offence and wouldn't say that's the norm but okay.
I never said it was the norm

Apologies Shadydan, I threw them in the mix as they were in that desperate run-in - I meant to quantify the statement but as my Missus was dishing up a lovely gumbo stew I was distracted.
