What I don't get with their comments is they don't really think it through and open themselves up to such criticism and actually brings down their own players.

So if Kane only ratches up his numbers against fodder, how come Sanchez hasn't done the same? If it's so easy to score against them in why is no one ahead of Kane?

Jealousy pure utter jealousy, even the most head strong Spurs could appreciated Henry (not saying Kane is on that level yet),

This is a new Spurs however to really get ones full respect we have to start winning medals.

Looked up the stats, and Kane is a bit disappointing with his mere 1 in 2 against top-7 (cup included) - 6 goals in 12.

Alexis Sanchez though... 3 in 12.
1 in 2 is pretty damn good as an overall record - there's been many a season where we'd have loved to have a 20 goal striker. 1 in 2 against the best sides in the league, and better than 1 in 1 against everyone else is incredible.

GRAMMAR ATTACK! RUN FOR COVER! :dead:
Hehe, it's awful, wouldn't last 2 minutes on here!

That guy's obv English, but there's a poster on there who has a real bee in his bonnet about 'Algerians with bad English who know nothing about football', I'm guessing because of Mahrez,Salami(sp), they've had an influx of Algerians joining FoxesTalk...the poster in question openly states he hopes all their Algerian players are sold so he doesn't have to read their posts lol.

I think it's obviously fat fingers brother
Ta.
Not really sure what his post means but definitely to do with my ageing, fat, arthritic fingers and the cans I downed to celebrate each goal (for and against) last night.
No offence intended !

Any one remember what spurs message boards were like back when ghaly and mido played? For people that don't, certain players have fans that follow them from team to team (instead of actually supporting a team if that makes sense).

It makes for some weird interactions.

I remember when all the Dempsey fans turned up. That was nuts.

Good old Deuce. :ROFLMAO:

Ambition: Based on last night – I don’t think any of our 11 would start for Spurs ahead of their players (OK maybe Vardy or Albrighton at a pinch)

That's not a "pinch" it's a whole blood curdling alligator bite.

I am left handed and myopic .. A bad mix when using this forum - I flick away and dish out bad ratings by accident.

I very rarely deliberately rate a post in a negative way. If you see me give out a neg post it is usually by accident.
I usually go back in my ratings column about once a fortnight for a clean up.

Now we've got that out of they way, just ignore me. Please don't I am very insecure. Apparently.

A match worth nothing. Not too fussed at all.

And that ladies and gentlemen sums up the two teams. When any professional football game (not a friendly) is "worth nothing" then what you end up with is a stuffing.

The days of this Spurs team playing in "worth nothing" games ended the day Mauricio Roberto Pochettino walked through the front door.

No worries. Been and checked and it was done at something like 5.19am. I suspect I woke up, checked the thread and fell asleep with finger on the phone. Either way it's been removed. For the record I am also left handed & myopic!

I guess that ultimately they probably know that it's sour grapes and hypocrisy but they've really enjoyed having a fall-back of lording it over us and now even that's been taken away. It must be hard because they've been consistently more successful in terms of league finishes (not to mention trophies) for, what, nearly 30 years(?) so any sign of that monopoly being broken must be hard to take. We've still got a long way to go before we can talk about comparing ourselves but with the new stadium coming, it's just another sign that they don't get to have it all their own way any more.

I agree but that shouldn't have anything to do with Kane and acknowledging his quality by making such remarks. It's not coherent thinking. They're still bigger than us and they've been vastly more successful ever since I supported spurs in 1991 but doesn't mean I don't think clearly and objectively

Basically they're ****s.

Don't get me started on RAWK.
