Haha, a Man City fan praising Pep today :ROFLMAO:
Wow. Just wow. The guy is just a genius.
I’ve seen a lot of defeats before but nothing like this. The way the players allowed Alli through for the goal was just mind blowing. The side were utterly outclassed in a way we haven’t seen this season and as a fan I couldn’t be prouder.

Before, during and after:

I'm afraid. Very afraid. Too afraid?

We should field a team that costs at least £420 million ;)

We'll be OK,as long as we go on the front foot, the draw with Celtic tonight could be a blessing in disguise, will give the players a wake up call..

Concerned tbh. No nolito, no kdb, silva looked like he was injured and struggling, gundoghan is off the pace and sane hasn't turned up yet. This will be Pep's biggest test to date and with top spot at stake I'm hoping on hope for this one.

Testing, but I'm quietly confident. 3-1 City. Mind you, I said we'd beat Celtic 3-1..

Is Kane injured

They did not have Dier and Dembele midweek. Much easier task at hand if either of them aren't available Sunday.
I think we'll come unstuck here in all honesty and will suffer a bit of a reality check, which won't be the end of the world as it has to happen at some point.

Horrible team with horrible arrogant fans, any win will do

It's probably going to be our first defeat, a draw would be a great result. A win would be incredible!

Biggest test of the season so far this one. Much more talented team than United if we can rough these up will send out a message to everyone else.

Two teams managed by two of the best in the game at the minute. This will indicate how far we've come from last season.

I know we've struggled against them a couple of times in recent years, them being helped by a couple of shambolic refereeing performances. I'd say they're on a similar level, maybe a bit better, than Celtic.:eek::eek:

We'll win this one. It'll be tough no doubt but I don't think the players will allow themselves to make the kind of individual errors that were on show last night.

Hopefully the three points might calm down some of our fanbase.

Wont be easy but can't see us dropping our guard this time

Another cup final for a mediocre team. They'll raise their game I'm sure, but if we concentrate and the officials don't get the better of us there's no reason why, at 4pm on sunday we won't still be unbeaten.

If they go all out attack/pressing we will find holes in their defence , expect a high scoring game but we need to win to shut a few ex spurs pundits up who are predicting a comfortable victory for their underachieving football club

Pochettino will want to show how good he is as manager they got so lucky in both games last season, all I ask for is no dodgy decisions.

I really want to win this one, puts down a marker beating Spurs, it would be their first defeat and end all this flat track bully stuff.

Their top scorer is out. Some of you wipe your fanny's I'm confident of spanking the spuds this time, Aguero show.

Reading the press it seems Spurs have already beaten us. Unbelievably biased coverage yet again. (Accurate actually)

Spurs are over rated by the pundits if we reach the level we have been playing it will be 3-1 to us.

Two great teams going toe to toe. Playing football the way it should be played. Another highly entertaining game 3-2 for City.

At the moment the defence isn't good enough for a clean sheet and theirs isn't good enough to stop our attack, expecting a great game and a 2-2 or 3-3 draw....

Teams announced:

No Dembele is a boost for us. He's their fulcrum.

Got a bad feeling about today.

I like that team, we've looked porous in midfield the last few games, Fernando and Navas will sort that.

Very confident today, take the normal 5/10 min onslaught then take the game 2-0 for us.

Think this will end in a draw today 2.2 I'll go for, will be keeping an eagle eye on the ref and the linesman to see if they attempt to fuck us over though..

We'll know 10 mins in how this is going to go :D

Post match, doesn't appear to be a match thread during the game

All in here please. Bad result but lets try and keep comments constructive, cheers.

burn everything

Actual cheaters with the fouling, pushing, pulling. Pathetic football from Spurs.

game was lost when the teams got announced

you can't say spurs didn't deserve the win

Spurs are great team btw, showed today why they conceded only 3 games so far this season. It's going to be fucking hard to qualify for CL, let alone to win titles in next few years, some very good teams in the league.

We got bullied today, physically. Out muscled, outworked. Spurs were very good

Did well to keep it down to 2 goals.

Spurs are brilliant.

I suspect there is something wrong in the dressing room... we should be winning these. may be pep needs more time

fuck me they are so delighted at that result, an image of them removing their pants and lathering up went across my brain, bastards.

Thought we improved in the second half, but ultimately we were beaten by a better team on the day. Credit so Spurs

Top of the league. F***k the Sky Spurs wa**fest. Bettered on the day. Didn't take our chances.

They are only a point behind us which tells you a lot considering this is our first loss. They were just better on the day

First good team we've faced and we've shit ourselves

Outplayed in every facet. 2-0 was flattering to be honest.

One word, bullied. Liverpool will do the same to us, we have to many weak players to play against sides wiTh such intensIty and physicality. Awful awful game and we're still a long way of being a pep team. Honeymoon period for us fans well and truly over.

Media will run out of superlatives for Spurs today and I wouldn't complain. We looked like a team in another division.

Beaten in every department from start to finish. Pellegrini esque performance. And city not scoring a goal cost me nearly £200. Fair play to spurs though :D

I think we're seeing the advantage teams like spurs, liverpool and Arsenal have this season over us,Utd and Chelsea in that they have an established settle team all with a manager with at least a season behind him.

Oh and Deli Alli has a face only a house brick could love.

Incredible performance from Spurs, they were dominant throughout and looked comfortable defending in the last 20 minutes; they were excellent in the way they pressed us and also played with a much better tempo than we did

To be fair to Spurs, I don't think any team for the rest of the season will put in a better all round performance than that, they were excellent. The big teams always have their best game of the season against us, its been like that for a few years. They know how to beat us. Its about time we came up with a proper plan for these games.
