Soccer Saturday were a disgrace today:
About 10 secs praise for Madrid
Selling poch to Real
Selling Kane/dele to Real
Winks is another carroll/mason
Flaky because we lost 1-0 at OT
Squad can’t cope with CL and PL
Have to win something

Honestly couldn’t believe what I was hearing.
Someone really needs to find all their children and throw them into that Volcano in Tenerife that's about to blow. Their gene pool cannot be allowed to continue.

As this is the 'What Our Opponents Fans are Saying About Us' thread, is it safe to say that 99% of media pundits are now part of our opposition?:cautious:

In our defence Palace have got like 1 forum, and when I last checked the match thread for this was 2 pages long, and it consisted of people mainly guessing how many they'd get beaten by.

I found this which is nice..

West Ham not Everton.just seen Mane is back so they will most likely get tonked and Bilic sacked tonight.
Haha dunno how I didn't notice that!
Seems bloody weird how Everton sacked Koeman without any else lined up...surely Koeman can't have been any worse for these last few games than Unsworth?

Yeah I think sacking Bilic is a case of when, not if ...I doubt West Ham are batting away offers from stellar managers, seems like a bit of crap job, bad owners, crap squad, maybe Moyes is the best they can do?

It's between him fat Sam or Dyche really, hardly the future the Everton fans have been dreaming of lol.
Dyche would be a lunatic if he left Burnely atm. He's got a really hard working squad there who he has a great connection with. Yes, Everton & West Ham would both offer a ton more wages than Burnley can, but if i was him I'd stick it out until the end of the season - if he carries on like he is he'll get offers, possibly even better opportunities, than if he chucked it in now and went to either of these "bigger" clubs.

Generally, I hope Everton sort their shit out - they won't go down, i'm sure of that, but always had a soft spot for them for some reason.

He won't rule himself out of the Everton job, so really that means one thing...he wants it.
If he didn't it'd be very simple to stop all the speculation.
Seriously I don't think he's ever gonna get offered jobs much bigger than Everton, he's not fashionable enough for the top 6 and I think he knows this.

West Ham, he can do better than, don't think that's the case with Everton.

Arsenal could do worse than appoint Dyche

So predictable.West Ham are a shambles could easily end up like Coventry no stadium in league 2 lol.
I'd be happy with them just having a 10 year stint in the Championship if I'm honest.

I think they'd become past even being relevant if they dropped down any further. You'd end up feeling sorry for them and no one wants that.

Their fans would go fucking ape shit. Let's be honest, he's one of the best managers in the league judging by the last 1.5 seasons. Easily the best English manager.

However, he isn't fashionable. No way would they want him coming in.

The thing is, they till clearly outstrip us in terms of resources without being an oil-mafioso club. Someone like Poch could work miracles with them. But their fans absolute would go berserk if their board appointed the Poch that left Southampton for no other reason than that he wasn't anywhere near high profile enough for them. A large proportion of them would probably do the same if it was the Poch that we see now - because he hasn't won anything and their club must have a high profile successful manager to compete with City, United and Chelsea. At the same time, they don't seem to understand that in terms of resources they are only fourth in line behind these three clubs - would Guardiola choose them over City, for instance, or Conte choose them over Chelsea? I doubt it. Not to mention the fact that in several ways they are falling behind* us despite generating greater revenues, just as Liverpool did.
*Just to be clear, I know the Goons have won the FA Cup in three of the last four season. When I say they are falling behind us I mean that at this precise moment our squad is better. Their problems will intensify because they have foolishly let half, and the best half, of their first team reach the end of their contracts. Our youth set-up is better than theirs and has been for a while. Our training facilities are better than theirs. Our stadium will be bigger, better, more modern, better designed and more clearly designed with the atmosphere generated, by the crowd, in mind. You could also argue that we have a better chairman and board, greater stability throughout the club and better and more stable management.

Just as with Liverpool a decade or more ago, it would do them well to get over themselves and accept a few years of proper restructuring, even if the cost was not having the mythical title challenges (that never materialise anyway) for a while. But they would, as you say, go ape-shit at the idea - just as the Mickeys would have.
