Jesus. Some of these fans are so fucking obsessed with spending money that it blinds them from the totally obvious reason as to how Spurs are doing this.

We haven't done this by buying a Bale or a Suarez. Yes we have some good individuals but it is about creating a TEAM of players with superb attitudes who want to achieve something collectively. We are a team, not a bunch of overpaid individuals with big egos and an eye on their next career move or social profile.

I genuinely believe this is the reason opponent fans always think they'll beat us, can't understand why we're ahead of them and/or don't understand how are players are doing so well (when, according to them, they are overrated).

Look at Trippier and Son, they're not even first choice but they have bought into the philosophy, worked hard and it's now all coming together.

Ultimately the manager has made this possible. He's transformed our club, our approach and our mentality. Even the fans are starting to shake it off now.

It's such a great feeling around the club right now, made all the more enjoyable by the traditional 'SKY 4' crying their sweet, salty tears! :sneaky:

TBF, it must be difficult for their car exhaust addled brains to figure out:

We have spent a fraction of what they have...in terms of net spend, virtually nothing compared to them.
Our wage bill is half theirs.
All our players are hugely overrated.

And we are odds on favourites to finish above them for the seventh season out of eight,

LoL

I agree with this wholeheartedly but I also think we need to start beating these teams that are our rivals more regularly to change that view. Until Liverpool at the end of a few hiding from us their fans won't change their view - not that I really care what they think anyway

That is definitely true but I enjoy them thinking we're shit and constantly finishing above them. Just amplifies their bitterness!

Won't last long Poch will be looking to leave soon he'll manage one of top clubs in 1-2 season.

Why would he?

Because spurs will be always 3rd tier club and he'll want to win things in the league and in europe.

I think he wants to WIN something with Sp*rs first though

that's difficult to happen yes spurs are improving but they finding themselves up high because we Man Utd and Man City are playing like retards when these teams back playing like before Spurs will be fighting for 4th again. he only chance to win things with spurs are in the cups (fa cup league cup)

Because after this season they are not even gonna compete for the league.
They wont win it either now even if most on here are trying their best thinking they can do it, no idea why. Thought this was Arsenal forum

I didn't rate Spurs to finish even in top 4 this season. With some good managers came to the league you would expect from them to fall down little bit.But they had even better season than last year.Pep,Mourinho and Wenger all flopped this year.

you right but credit to spurs they are playing wonderful stuff this year but when these teams back on top spurs will fall behind.

For the past four or five seasons there have always been two or three big clubs who don't turn up, I don't see why next season'll be any different.
Spurs have a small but legitimate shot at the double and are the most consistent team in the league, no reason at all for Poch to leave. Especially since he's not interested in the Barca job

Think about this - in just 3 seasons, Poch has had those ****ers competing for the title further into the season than Arsene has had his muppets do in 13 years.........
Also, he's doing it again this season when arguably there hasn't been a more competitive EPL season & he's spent a fraction of what Arsene has done.
They might not win the league but they also just might with the right additions, although you'd think the move to Wembley will eff them up big time.
Arsenal forum or not.........

Count that Wenger won't improve anything if he stays at Arsenal. We watch same movie for last 10 years or so.It'll happen again.Pep needs a lot of new players but his game will be same with some better individuals.Mourinho will make some improvements for sure. His second season in every club is quite strong.

Being a Spurs fan is like being in Josef Fritzl's basement. Whenever you see a chink of light you end up getting ****ed.
Can't wait for next season when their world inevitably collapses around them.

Arsene's at a bigger club and no one's taking him seriously anymore. It's what you do with what you got. Poch can make his name at Sp*rs. He'll move on eventually most likely but there's no reason for him to go anywhere now UNLESS one of the really big boys come a calling.

Nah. They have barely been in title race this year. Only now they will have to hope that Chelsea lose and then they have a small chance

Nobody was talking about Wenger mate. No idea why he is brought into the discussion.
Pochy will make nothing at Spurs. He will have to move to bigger club if he wants to be taken seriously.

They stink of fear and false hope borne of desperation :)

Yes, the manager is the most important factor for us. If RM is coming in offering him 7 million, hope Levy goes to 10 to keep him.

Isn't Poch getting like 5 or 6m? Don't think another million will make much difference to him or to us really, most likely meet in the middle.

Oh right, so it was alright when these cocksuckers were only competing against United for the title 15 years ago. Deluded mongs.

I am looking at the spuds team. How did they manage to assemble such a formidable side? Where were we when it happened?

Trying to compare their team to ours. Not easy to be objective but something tells me they have been doing something right of late.

Goal Hugo vs Petre
Walker vs Bellerin tie
Rose vs Nacho tie
Alderweireld vs Kos: tie
Vertoghen vs Mustafi
Xhaka vs Wanyama : tie
Dembele vs Ramsey/Elneny/Chamberlain
Dele vs Özil :tie
Erickson vs Theo
Son vs Sanchez : gunners win
Kane vs Welbeck

Managers: jury is out

Class: Arsenal win by a wide margin
History: Arsenal win by a wide margin

Future: ???

They thump our squad in many different positions in my opinion. Like Ian Wright said though it may be painful to say it, I am jealous of some of their players.

Where the Gooner has not put tie or gunners win means he concedes we have a better player in that position. But would any of us swap Walker, Rose, Toby, Wanyama or Dele for their players in the same position. I think not. The only one I'd take from them is Sanchez.

It's obviously impossible for some to see past their own club. It happens here too but this is clearly biased pricktasticness and I wouldn't swap any of those mentioned above for any of ours, bar Sanchez. Bellerin is the closest call from that lot and an on form Ozil is obviously class but Alli is showing he's different gravy. His stats are ridiculous.

On the flip side, I've said if for a while, but if we did manage to get Sanchez (we wouldn't) I genuinely believe we'd win the league. Again and again. He is literally the missing link in our team.

Whenever I read other fans' comments after yet another excellent victory and some are literally only beginning to realise we're actually quite good after months of denial, I keep picturing certain memes in my head....

Ooh so salty...

And then, for some reason, certain comments make me think

I think it's because it's how I picture them when they're typing their shit.
