They are far greater supported in south of the city and around Stockport. North and west of the city is predominantly redYes I agree, I also grew up in Manchester and city have always been a big club in terms of support.

Our net spend is usually zero. Do you want us to sell £40m more than we spend but put the money on wages?
These posts gave me haemorrhoids:Red Cafe: Spurs officially arrived tonight

6 defenders, 4 central ones, holy shit lmao feck off Pochettini you absolute negative boretwat
Nah, group stages still mean feck all. If they do that in the knockout phase then it'll be truly impressive
They got a fortunate draw, is that all it takes?
Do it in the knockout stages and I'll be impressed. Especially since the Spurs goal was an own goal
probably not what would have happened if it was a knockout or serious game

On what fucking planet is getting Real Madrid and Dortmund an easy draw? These posts gave me haemorrhoids:

Truly baffling stuff.

Ahh, you're probably right.I read 'fortunate draw' as in we were fortunate to draw 1-1 with Real Madrid. Surely the poster on Red Cafe cant be referring to the group draw?

Not only that but also replace our outgoing and aging players with more academy prospects. Eventually replacing Dembele with Winks & Onomah is a good example of that. It will all help us increase salaries & keep Eriksen, Ali & Kane long term.People are talking about us being able to increase spending with our increase revenue. All I am saying is that I had rather it go into salaries instead of into transfer fees. I think our strategy of net zero spend on transfer fees by buying young, selling those that don't work out, etc. is very good. Instead of looking to buy compete with the bigger clubs on transfer fees, I think it would be money better spent to increase salaries and keep our players. Just threw out a number to make my point, but IMO any increase should be in salaries not in a large transfer fee increase.
Spurs are everything that Gazidis and co. promised us we were going to be.
This is exactly what I was thinking watching the game last night. Spurs are competing with the biggest teams not just in the premier league but the champions league as well. And actually competing, rather than showing up and getting destroyed. They're also doing it in the exact way that we were supposed to; exciting football, young homegrown talent, cheap but shrewd buys in the market. Led by a tactically astute coach who improves everyone that comes into the club and gives them a clear identity and ethos.
Whenever fans say that getting rid of Wenger won't solve our problems and it's impossible to compete unless Kroenke lets us spend hundreds of millions every summer (which he has done for 2 of the past 4 summers anyway) just point them to Spurs. They are what we should be and it makes me fucking sick.
I'm not one to jump on the "spurs are so good we suck" thing, but jesus, not a fucking chance we play away at somewhere like the bernabeu and hold out for a 1-1 draw.
Where were our scouts when Ajax made Sanchez available?
Watching this game makes you realize how much better Spurs are than us. We walk into Barcelona and Bayern and expect to lose 4-1, 5-1. Spurs are hanging in there and threatening against the best team in the world.
Very dark time to be an arsenal fan tbh
I found these on /r/Gunners:
Ha, I hadn't realised Spurs were playing RM.
Kane & Llorente not getting a sniff in this Spurs set-up
Reckon Real’s quality will tell but Pochettino has done a fantastic job at Spurs.
Spurs are doing well tbf, although the difference in quality should win it for Real..
Oh my god. Kane to Madrid confirmed
Can't even say that's undeserved, they've held into this game nicely.
Spurs holding their own.
Why aren't Spurs getting tonked by RM? Not fair!
The media is going to be all over Spurs tonight. Argh!
Cant see us holding Madrid to a draw.Spurs just are better these days, what a horrible thought
Spurs completely held their own and easily could have won. Standard of the PL is much improved vs. the past 5 years or so.
True, shame we haven't improved with it, if we had we would be in CL playing the best teams in Europe. What a difference a top manager makes
Anyone can draw Madrid in the group stage. Wake me up when Spurs beat them in the knockouts in 2006. Bet that never happens.
that really is tears of joyI found these on /r/Gunners:
Would love someone to track down a record of every Real Madrid home match in the CL group stages...Going Back 11 years, maybe its still lost on him that they will not do that again.
