LSD?
He's quite calm here so comes off better however I can't stand listening to him, thinks his opinion is more important than others, screams insults at all the players, shoots down people who have different opinions to him, is always saying "I told you so" and reminding ppl that he was right all along - he also never lets others get their opinion across preferring to interrupt them "You can listen to me now". Oh and he's always calling ppl out as if he's some hardman. If you were stuck in a debate with him you'd end up hitting him.To be honest I like listening to DT as I think he's just honest, I agree with a lot of what he has to say. Same with the other one who says 'blood' all the time really. Ty on the other hand, is someone who I would never have a conversation about football with. Incredibly deluded.

I don't know why you guys are getting your knickers in a twist about the parking the bus comments. It's clearly untrue, and is just jealousy from opposition fans. Why let it bother you. Just laugh at them.
If anything impressed me in that match it was Pochettino's ability to make such a mediocre XI to equal Real Madrid.
Red Cafe: Harry Winks after the Real Madrid game
This kid looks the real deal. Since his breakthrough last season, he's looked better and better as time has gone on and it's pretty feasible that he may end up starting for England at next years World Cup. What a year or so it's been far the lad and no better manager to nurture his talents than Poch.
He'd have to really push some top players in the spurs starting 11 to start in the World Cup. Not sure if I can see that happening to be honest. That said, clearly talented and at a great club for his stage of development.
Englands midfield could use someone like him. He's better than Henderson, for me.
I mentioned it in the forum earlier. He will be the next 100 million player.
Might just be because he’s at Spurs and lazy comparisons, but he reminds me a little of Michael Carrick with increased mobility and ball-carrying skills
Showed a lot of composure on the ball at the Bernabeu the other night, technically superior to the usual English CM.
His problem will be getting minutes when Wanyama and Dembele come back from injury. Spur's results have been very solid since he has been in the first eleven though.
Been praising him for a while myself, he always impressed me. He reminds me of Wilshere.
Reminded me a bit of Cleverly, decent ability on the ball and can play a decent pass, but his default mode of operation seemed to be to stand close to the defenders, get the ball, and play the easiest pass. Cleverly likewise does have the ability to do more, but he's not a natural on the ball the way a Dembele or Pogba are. This is mainly my observations based on the Real match, I recall one decent pass forward and not much else really.
Looks a class act to me.
Just watched a highlight of his performance against Real. Nothing too fancy but I liked how press-resistent he looked. Some nice feints/shoulder drops to make a run forward and create space.
Had the third highest pass completion from the match the other night after Ramos and Kroos, apparently.
Solid performance. Wouldn't get all excited just yet Wilshere pre injury was a bigger talent imo but I do think Winks might actually give England balance in that side now as we have zero composure in midfield and he seems calm and likes to pass between the lines.
Next 100 mil player? There's a few in the Spurs side much more likely to go for that sort of fee before this bloke. He look a promising player but let's not get silly. 1 assist in 27 prem games (especially at a side like Spurs) is not exactly amazing.
If his name wasn’t silly enough as it is, he has the middle name “Billy”. Harry Billy Winks. School must’ve been a nightmare.
Unbelievably overrated. All he's proved is that he can cut it at this level in a good team, not particularly excel. I hate Henderson with a passion, but this guy is not any better than him.
Tom Carroll was also rated at some point, it wouldnt surprise me to see Winks at Swansea in a few years. Our own Cleverley too. As soon as an English midfielder has more than average technique, the hype goes up. It wont take much for his career to go downhill again.
I don't really rate him. I struggle to see him becoming better than Jordan Henderson, he's quite good at pretty much everything but has no significant strenghts to his game. If anything impressed me in that match it was Pochettino's ability to make such a mediocre XI to equal Real Madrid.
Only saw the second half, but remember him trying to dribble in the middle, lost the ball and Real were close to scoring on the counter. Haven’t really seen anything special from him yet, it’s easy to play decent for Tottenham with good players around him. Struggling to see what he brings to stand out.
The boy can play
But, but.. Pogda earns 500k a week, cost 1billion and plays for a big club.Seen more from Winks than than I seen from pogba
That's what Utd fans should be worried about not Harry WinksBut, but.. Pogda earns 500k a week, cost 1billion and plays for a big club.

This is true and we should all temper our expectations.
Also true but then I remember similar being said about Modric so can't say I'm too concerned.

Winks is already twice the player Carrol ever was. I agree to a certain extent that we shouldn't get too carried away/ahead of ourselves just yet but it's harsh to say he's another Tom Carrol IMO.
Win
Harsh?
Winks has already shown more, and in terms of character, he's a far more gritty type of player with just as much natural playing ability, if not more.
And on his farm he had a goat EIE-IOEIE EIE...
I think Winks is a very talented young man. He probably has the best of Carroll, Mason and Bentaleb imo although he does lack Bentaleb's physicality. His ability and willingness to receive the ball under pressure is certainly as good as any current English midfielder. However, he must be careful not to become just another "get it and give it" clone that English football loves to produce. He needs to use his ability to take chances. Take people on, find clever passes and make things happen. He has the potential to do it. That is what separates Modric and Iniesta from the rest.
