If you are off the ground then you are out of control - if you were feet first you'd get a red card, but for some reason if you are leading with your head then you are somehow a victim and everyone needs to get out of your way and give you a free header.

Kane does swivel his body to block off the header, but also to allow the ball to drop to his right so he can turn and run with the ball. Nothing malicious you could also say that Bellerin made sure if he didn’t get the ball, he stopped Kane from breaking with it.

Still wild to me that all the attention is focused on Kane for that but an absolute plodder like Xhaka can try to hockey style hip check Kane through his knees and nothing is said after the fact.

Or when Xhaka wrestled Kane to the ground.

Arse truly are on a downward spiral though. Love it!

Best moment of the AFTV watch along.

If their AFTV careers fail, at least one of them could replace Rachel Riley on Countdown...

It’s so embarrassing to see our own fans referring to us as Burnley with two good strikers. It really is just absolutely clueless.

Had a saints fan say the exact same thing last night. It's ridiculous.

The irony is it's Arsenal playing like Burnley minus the capable strikers. Arteta seems to have found his mentor in David Moyes and not Pep. 56 crosses into the box?!

They are just "fans" who watch Sky sports and listen to Talkshite and take everything they say as gospel, rather than actually watching games and making their own minds up. Its lazy journalism and the lazy armchair "fans" it appeals to.

no we have done it against Burnley, WBA, Brighton, Man City, Chelsea and Arsenal. In fact the last two games he has taken off attacking players and put two more defenders on leaving us with just to attacking players on the pitch. I really don’t get the fantasy that some indulge in of thinking Jose will change. Just accept it and enjoy winning or like me long for the day when we might play decent football again. But neither comes around often and it is way easier to play defensive football. I have nothing but respect for the players and love Cheering them on. Nice today not to hear some of the usual idiots that spend the whole game slagging off players. But most around me groaned at the late defensive subs ... we have no choice but to put up with the fare we are delivered by JM. Bread and water you can live on but a roast dinner and glass of red wine is so much better
I'm flabbergasted (for which I'd like to extend my thanks, because it's a brilliantly underused word).

We had "red wine" football for a couple of years under Pochettino; some of the best football I've witnessed (given I wasn't alive when we were constantly challenging), but what did we win?

The heartbreak of not winning the league thanks to some silly draws and defeats (namely the 1-0 at home to Leicester) still irritates me.

Does every fan want their club to win competitions and play exciting, attacking football? Of course.
Is that a realistic wish for 99% of teams? Obviously not.

I absolutely cannot accept that you'd begrudge us winning something - anything - playing on the counter versus the bigger, attacking teams, and would prefer us to, what, finish second and lose a cup final playing beautiful football...

Beggars belief.

Wasn't a Kane awarded a penalty earlier in the season when he was in Gabriel's position, and he was pilloried for being a cheat?

Bit different as Lallana jumped into him from behind in that incident. Against Arse he is the one who runs into Gabriel IMO. Lucky to get away with that.

@crisp1979 what is creative about it?
