Those poor bastards are probably in shock right now. Wouldn't be surprised if some of them had only just now checked the score having disappeared around the 70-80 minute mark.

Can’t say I’ve ever been a fan of this kinda thing, I’m kind of old fashioned and was always told to do yer talking on the park. All it does it leaves yerself wide open for a pisstake back. Can’t blame them for it, but it’s a different age that I grew up in

Ye I’m all for it after the game but so many get way too cocky before a ball has been kicked.

Absolutely, there’s a time and a place for it. Some folk just need to learn it’s best done after the game is finished

Especially when we’ve been here so many time’s before with them in particular. Then we wonder why everyone calls us deluded ??

I got £10 on at 20’s a week ago. Still confident. Out attack is shit hot and we’ve got the best manager to sort out a defence (or so they say)

Except there's a big difference between sort out a defence and sort out a Tottenham defence.

He's had a year to sort out the defending.
It's difficult to sort out any defence when you have a lack of leaders in that role. A solid defence usually has either one of a calm composed centre back, an aggressive type yet in control at all times, a general type centre back or even a bit of all. Dier is not a general type and loses concentration although he certainly won't take shit, Sanchez is as quiet as a mouse and isn't always composed, Toby was calm and composed but is regressing and was never really a general type, whereas Tanganga is still a baby.

I'm hoping Rodon is a mixture of the matter two, someone aggressive and can be moulded into a general type. If that's the case we won't need to go back in for Skriniar but may need to look for a cool composed type.

It's certain that we need more in this position before we can win though.

It's also sorting out individual mistakes not so much shape and organisation.

Those things take much more time or perhaps you simply don't as the players will always have those mistakes in them.

Look at Aurier, improved under Jose yet still messed up.

West Ham fans would have enjoyed it more on TV- if they had been allowed into the ground half of them would have left before they scored one!
