I think people are missing the point of my view about the Guardiola view on Kane . That is that the managers of the clubs financially doped are in a unique position of being able to spend £150 to £ 250 mill every season and the reality this cartel have the ability to buy the best in quality and quantity season after season . While the rest of us have to balance books with no sugar daddy there to fund endlessly on the very top players . So a club like Tottenham is and has done in the recent past over relied on Kane has done so because they cannot compete with these uber rich clubs in the transfer market . So unless we can get lucky in the transfer market or Scarlett turns out to be a diamond we will have to carry on being the Kane Team . Thus you have Villa the Grealish team and I am sure their are many clubs that over rely on one player out of necessity rather than choice . Like I say the Guardiola's of this world really think its a level playing fields the delusion is mind is that they are doing so well because of there talent . If you remember the team he took over at city in that first season were not too clever and then the series of £50 to £60 million pound players he started to buy each season then they looked fantastic .
There are more than a few premiership cubs who given £150 to £ 200 mill each year to spend as city have done season after season and they could challenge the city dominance and city would not look so far ahead of other clubs as they look now .
I think Guardiola should keep his mouth shut until there is some kind of level playing field .
In Guardiola's defence he said what he did about Kane 3 years ago and hasn't repeated it to my knowledge. I believe that counts as keeping his mouth shut.

I have to say looking at the article I read it was Jamie O'Hara who was repeating what Guardiola said .
That does not change my view that clubs with untold spending power do not have to rely on one player and city have the funds to spend year after year with no problem . Clubs like spurs Villa may end up relying on one player out of necessity rather than choice .
I give up it seems that most make Guardiola the bees knees .

I don't get what he means when he says it's wrong to rely on him. He's our best player so when he's fit he plays. I might be wrong but I don't remember Pep dropping Messi in meaningful games when at Barca.

JOH is just repeating what other pundits say. I'm yet to hear him have an original thought.

You're saying that he sees what other footballers do and just does the same as them?

Who would have thought that Jamie O'Hara, one time lover of Danielle Lloyd, would be like that?

Mate I've met him a few times. He's a really nice lad, but a bundle of footballing wisdom he is not.

This is not about what our opposing fans are saying but an opposing manager . Guardiola has said" it is wrong for spurs to rely so much on Kane " this comment makes me sick . What he does not take into account is that City along with Chelsea PSG and Juventus can sign who they like when they like and pay as much as needed to attract these uber players . This means that because they have so many world class players they do not like normal clubs have to balance their books and means they do not have to rely on one class player they have many of them also you could not afford one of these world class players and their wages a club like ours may make what for us is a huge signing once every four or five years . Tha financially doped can sign who they like when they like without repercussions except from. FFP which city seem to be able to overcome even that problem . Good god Guardiola I read is readying a bid for Haaland this summer he already has Aguero Jesus Foden . The managers of the financially doped clubs cannot relate to what normal clubs have to adhere to and I wish he would keep his gob shut . He has managed Barca / Bayern / City / all filthy rich and able to cherry pick the best players without worrying about where the money is coming from . He can make statements about clubs relying on one or two players when he manages a club that is not filthy rich and has to stick to its own financial restrictions . Cosseted lucky tosser who lives in a different world to most managers and clubs .
Have you got a link to this?

Edit. Ignore this

Tottenham do rely heavily on Kane but I do get cheesed off with some of our players that continue to hide. Personally I feel we need a clear out and Levy needs to dig deep and get better quality ie 1st choices not 3rd or 4th options on the cheap.

This one annoys me

Whilst I obviously hope we win and progress to the next round, part of me wants the first priority in this fixture to be for several of our lads to clatter that horrible little gimp Son. Him and his crocodile tears never got any punishment for his disgusting foul on Gomes... I'd be ok with Besic getting a start and being tasked to exact some retribution.

This is just retarded tribalism.

Most sensible Everton-fans would probably also agree that the Gomes ankle-injury was entirely coincidental.

Also, Son was sent off (regardless of whether it was subsequently rescinded), so that shits on their "wasn't punished" theory. Unless they expected him to be sent to death row.

I am a member on that forum (purely because their dislike of their red neighbours just about matches my own) and can tell you now that every poster on there to a man despises Sonny. They've even taken it to the extreme of going back through his entire career in England and Germany and finding incidents that "prove" that he is a snide thug (their words). Every time he scores their match thread is littered with thinly veiled racist abuse and ways they would like to injure him.

I bet the evertonians don't say the same about pickford...

Although 99% of the posters dislike and mock Pickford because hes just not very good and they paid £30m for him he is now held as some sort of demi god for what he did to VVD.

Everton are one of those clubs that get away without any kind of criticism and like to throw around the term b0ttlers at us at every opportunity. Just off the top of my head here are some of the players and associated transfer fees theyve paid since Moshari bought them:

Pickford - £30m
Ashley Williams - £20m
Michael Keane - £30m
Gylfi Siggurdsson - £45
Alex Iwobi - £40m
Cenk Tosun - £10m
Richarlison - £50m
Bernard - £15m
Bolasie - £25m

Im sure theres a load more on there that ive forgotten about but considering their average league position over the last decade has been 9th they have some nerve calling other teams out for b0ttling things.

It goes to show how poorly LEVY has backed our manager in the transfer market.

Everton Aston Villa Leicester have out spent us and have now caught up to us quality wise

This is true to a certain extent and im far from a Levy apologist but we've heard time and time again from both ITK and official sources that the money was there and waiting to be spent but for whatever reason and only Poch himself will know this he didnt want to spend it.

On 3rd and 4th choice options... Can't people get this into their heads. The money wasn't enough to get our 1st choices unfortunately Pochittinho waited and it had backfired on him.

Also LEVY failed to shift a number of players Poch wanted out.
