Arsemania:
- Ruthless move by Conte dropping son on bench. He looked poor to be fair
- The media got what they’ve been calling all along. Watch the c*nt come back on form against us with his usual dive or two to win a penalty. Cheating bastard
- SA_Gunner - Leicester score. The Sp**s watchalongs are going to be glorious
- Sp**s would be relegation fodder without Kane.
- ****! Kulusevskis crossing is so ****ing good, he's a threat in every game.
- This season Sp**s now have the luxury of dropping someone like Son with Richarlison being there.
- SA_Gunner - Sp**s have dropped into their midblock. One thing we need to be vigilant of when we play them. When we score, we must watch their intense desire to want to get back on level terms immediately. We must slow the game down and frustrate them until they drop back into their low/mid block again.
- ISA_Gunner - To be fair to Conte, he has them doing the counter attack and set plays very well, and that makes them a dangerous unit. But if you can properly control the ball and/or space, you can shut them down.
- 42% possession at home against the team who are bottom of the league, Sp**s are so poor but extremely effective at what they do unfortunately.
- Yes shades of George Graham. Not very pleasing on the eye but find a way to win. People may criticise the style & say the game has moved on but it has been very effective at times over the years. Mourinho built a career on it.
- It'll catch up on them. They'll do well to get 4th behind us but fair chance they won't.
- 2-2
- Fully deserved. Tottenham have been utter garbage but they’ll score at least one more
- You can see this Sp**s team is just about being ruthless 40% possession at home and already allowed 2 goals and they allowed Leicester to have 10 shots
- SA_Gunner - Sp**s pushing hard to get their advantage back quickly. Definitely instructed by Conte this, brilliant mindset I must say.
- Richarlison has been trash so far
- SA_Gunner - I think this play of theirs is designed this way, it wont improve more than this IMO. They are happy to concede posession in favour of counter attack opportunities. They will press up if they feel the opposition is inferior and cannot hurt them, but they are more than comfortable to sit back and wait. Add good set piece routines and a need to stay ahead, and you can call them a functional, possibly dangerous side. Keeps them relevant for a top four place.
- Shocked if we don’t beat Sp**s twice. They are mediocre, but somehow get a Kane goal to win. That well will dry up.
- Must be embarrassing to be a Sp**s fan, totally dominated at home but will probably still win.
- Sp**s will win because of enough quality forwards. But boy are they average in general play. Hjorberg is such a limited player.
- 3-2 - SA_Gunner - Leicester should continue to push for the next 15-20 minutes for their third. They should have the quality to create something. Then they should sit in a mid block and wait for counter attacks. What's critical is that they dont concede corners or free kicks close to their goal. That's Sp**s' lifeline in this game. (wrong again)
- SA_Gunner - Leicester will score again. Question is, will they be able to keep Sp**s out. (wrong again)
- Sp**s getting dominated here. Leceister hasn't done this to anyone this season
- Lloris might be crap with his feet but he very good shot stopper. Maybe bit better than Leno
- Son 4-2 - What a goal
- **** so clinical
- And now they have kicked off son's season. As I said useless Leicester.
- Oh well Game over. Some goal by son tbf.
- And just like that, Sp**s are ahead of us in the table.
- SA_Gunner - Guess the season’s over now huh.4 shots on goal 4 goals
- Sp**s will keep winning games like this they just ruthless team because of good finishers they have still won't always thier go way because they not dominate game
- 5-2 - F**k. That's quality
- That’s crazy what a pair of goals
- Another poster- SA_Gunner - You were saying? Please don’t try to discuss football with me again…
- Sonsexuals back out in full force. Can’t stand him, I’d love to smash his face in tbh.
- going to be very tough to get anything against Sp**s if their forward players keep up this level of clinical finishing
- Hat trick! Yeah we ain't getting past them. Specially once our hot start cools down.
- These kind of posts wind me up. Spuds are nothing special. They’re beating bottom of the league. We’ve come on leaps and bounds this season. Stop panicking
- And this kinda Homer posts wind me up. We have been nothing special so far. Sure we have gotten results but you act like we are miles better than Sp**s. We are not. So stop acting as if Arteta has suddenly turned into Prime Ferguson. The coneboy will eventually return to his level which is between 5th and 8th. I'm rooting for him to prove me wrong though. But the intentionally dismissal of Sp**s' quality is arrogant and dangerous.
- SA_Gunner - No need to dismiss any team. The players definitely won’t. Your cone boy has built a team that plays better football. That’s it. For Conte’s boys to come to the Emirates and win, they going to need some stars to align. Not impossible, but probably not gonna happen.
- Spurs 18 goals, only City has more. A-M told me Conte can't attack?
- SA_Gunner - Imagine how many goals we’d have if we played counter attacking football only, with minimal possession.
- It's fun when you have ruthless attack and world class finishers but the way he set up his team he'd be lucky get 2 goals a game without that.
- Nah. It's typical Conte. Awful football but scores efficiently like his Chelsea and Juve side. It's a proven winning formula so no surprise. Why else do you think he bought Perisic Bissouma etc? He needs people that can run up and down that's all
- Sp**s will be up there, we're fooling ourselves if we think they won't. At the moment, Chelsea looks the most vulnerable. It's difficult to say what we can expect of United. We're a bit of an enigma too. I fancy our first eleven against anyone bar City.
- Them two bastards upfront for Sp**s is why i think they'll finish above us. They are both ruthless.
- It would be far less annoying if Sp*rs were genuinely a good team instead of being absolute dogsh*t and still getting results somehow.
- Sp**s has given away 3rd most attempts in the league
- Sp**s will be a problem especially with their forward players. They don’t have a lot else beyond that but it’s ****ing effective when they have space to run into.
- Sp**s still did not look good for most of the game and relied on Leicester passing to Sp**s players at every chance. Seen Sp**s 4 times and they have been poor every time though won 3 of them. They rely on luck and decisions and the opponents being awful. Not convinced about them at all
