I don't think pulling hair is a red personally. Its a foul but not a red.
Well it certainly can’t be a red under current rules, but I kinda hope they change it, because I don’t think it’s acceptable myself.

He just went to pull the shirt, his hair just got in the way!! Pulling of the shirt if just a foul/yellow at most, most of the time  :sneaky:

Wrong. Romero's hand was just near the guy's head, but still several inches away, and as our guy moved he clenched his fist in what he thought was thin air. It's not Romero's fault there was a multitude of hair strands there. I blame Cuca.

Didn't Crouchy do a hair pull too?
Grabbed a defenders dreads so that he could out jump him and if I remember correctly, scored because of it too.

I don't remember anyone doing anything more than laughing and commending his creativity at the time. Certainly don't recall anyone castigating it.
Think it was for England.

It's gone on for years, so I really don't understand why some of our fans seem to want to make such an issue of Cuti doing it on Sunday.

To paraphrase the words of Graeme Souness, Romero pulled his hair in a "very Latin" way. Whereas I guess Crouch must have done it in a British way.

What a dogshit fanbase. What is it about Chelsea that attracts all these weird dorky basement dwellers?

Just had a row with an old Chelsea mate of mine after he posted some whinge on Facebook about the ref.

I told him that they're getting as bad as Liverpool, asked if he's signed the petition and got a t-shirt printed yet?
Then explained that the ref doesn't have an agenda against Chelsea, he's just a bad ref and probably makes the same bad decisions in every game he takes.

He responded that he wouldn't expect anything different from "a yid" and that he supposed I thought that the hair pull was fine.
I said, no, I thought it was funny and proceeded to remind him of his support and love for such players as Costa, Wise and Terry, explaining that shithousing has always been a part of the game and that he shouldn't start crying about it because they were on the receiving end for once.

He piped up briefly about corruption, to which I reminded him about Abramovich.

He then simply stated that he "didn't have time for such bollocks".

It's like some people just fall into the echo chamber of social media and lose all common sense and reality.

Aww, that's nice – hope they only lose to Liverpool by a few goals next weekend now.

No, no. Manure will be no threat to us this season. So, hopefully, it will be Liverfool that drop points (ideally get beat) by Manure next weekend.

We need to be thinking higher than 4th, so it is Liverfool and Ch£l$ki who we will be fighting with for a higher place in the league.

of course you can send someone off for it if you see it as violent conduct its a red card the rules don't need to specify hair pulling
they kind of expect refs to have some modicum of sense - Dean in the VAR box couldn't have thought there was enough in it to call it as a sending off offence and as the ref hasn't given a foul the game goes on the rules don't have to be explicit

Also got to factor in that most of these referees are baldies and so to them the sheer amount of hair Cucarella is sporting must seem arrogant. Dean was never giving it.

Anyone have an idea what this was? I can't see the link but read the following comments
It was, I think a link to a highly offensive tweet mentioning a concentration camp, a former German leader and some general hatred. I have a screenshot but won’t repost it. You didn’t miss much mate…

The same Mike dean that has recently been so Anti Spurs, I thought any VAR decisions would go against us…
