  • We’ve picked up 2 consecutive clean sheets in our last 2 competitive games, playing a back 5 in 135 of the 180 minutes combined. Is there a need to fix something that currently isn’t broke? The Spuds play a back 5 too.
  • There will be a lot of nerves for this...keeping things tight will be crucial to keep the crowd onside I see us starting with a back 3 and then changing things later in the game.
  • Dare I say they look there for the taking, based on today.
  • The way Son & Kulusevski play wide either side of Kane I can’t imagine we’ll go 3 centre halves. Two to double up on Kane with fullbacks marking their wide players, of which Emerson might be pushing for a start at lb with his pace. Heart says 2-1 to is, head isn’t so sure
  • They will try to hit us on the break and I don't think we are good enough to take it to them anyway. I will take a draw against spurs and Chelsea all day long.
  • This is going to be an absolute blockbuster. Tottenham are going to get bashed.
  • One thing's for sure; there's not much sweeter than a victory over Spurs.
  • Into these, it’s gonna be big, its gonna be hard, it’s gonna be fast, it’s gonna be loud, give the arrogant bastards a seeing to… irons!
  • You know Suprs have been playing well while we've been crap and Son hasn't scored yet? Hattrick for him. Hopefully we win 4-3
  • Always the most important game of the seaosn for me this one, especially when Spurs are doing well and we are not. Nothing beats turning them over as we have done at home a couple of times recently. I think it will be a score draw, maybe 2-2 with the key being whether we can control the midfield where I think Hojberg and Bentancur are excellent.

I love it how they actually admit it is their cup final ?

Hottentott is a pretty outdated derogatory term for sub-Saharan Africans that was widely used in Scandinavian languages, German and Dutch back in the day. Not a very cool thing to start calling anyone.
To be honest it has changed in the German language as a catch all for calling someone or a group uncivilised or chaotic.

I honestly think all fans are very similar , go in the match thread during a game and tell me we ain’t got the same amount of stupid fans
It's like the monkey enclosure at the zoo, they're all just screaming and flinging their own shit about.

Do you think that West ham fans know that they are of no significance to our fan base at all? I've never thought about them. I certainly don't consider them rivals and nor for I look for our fixtures against them.

Its so odd how they see us as their bitter rivals. They're just another team that we have to play, no more and no less.

As for us being arrogant, well, we've pretty much always been a bigger more successful club. We've often played in different divisions, so I guess we've always considered ourselves as being above them in the footballing hierarchy.

Strange club.
Their real rivals are Millwall, I guess they don't get to play them anymore so they decided to start something with us.

Embarrassing from Hamann, reading through the comments Richarlison has other fans and pundits absolutely rattled lol

I find it utterly bizarre that ex pro footballers come out with shite like this. The game is about entertainment and yet Hamann classes moments of skill as disrespect for opponents and wants free kicks given for it? Next thing they'll be saying a Modric pass with the outside of the boot is disrespectful too. You know that if it had been Ronaldinho there would be a different reaction which just shows how hypocritical it is.

It wasn't even that amazing a "showboat". He flicked the ball up a couple of times and then misplaced a pass. The reaction of the Forest player was ridiculous and should have been a red card. Football should be embraced, anger and thuggery should be punished. Bullshit narrative.

A lot of oppo fans say our football is boring. So Richie livens things up a bit and suddenly he's footballs answer to Vlad the Impaler

Agree. A skilful defender would take the ball from him, not clatter him, as the Forest player did. The skilful defender would then get applause, not a yellow card.

When Cristiano controlled a crossfield pass with his backside everyone was in awe. Richarlison does a few kick ups and he's disrespectful.

It's simple. Hamann used to play for Liverpool. Richarlison for Everton. It's the only reason he is sticking his beak out. Genuinely, you'd hope by the age of 30, everyone would grow out of this "my team is better than your" schtick, but no.
