It's not even like it's a new rule. Aslong as Kane is in line with the ball or behind the ball he's onside.
No different to a counter attack with 2 attackers through in on the goalkeeper and the player squares it to the other for a tap in.

"The picture" is literally the moment the ball is played, what would be the point of freezing it when it's received? I'm properly confused trying to understand how he can think that that's how it works.

I think he was just having a go at var, rather than saying the image further up that page was receiving the ball

Oh yeah that would make more sense, if he's referring to a random picture posted by a user and not the picture that VAR use to decide offside. I clicked on the Fulham forum link but it wanted me to register and, well... no.
