Not everyone- I know plenty and they are conflicted- they do point out Saudis invest in many other U.K. industries and Disney and nobody seems to mind that so should they boycott their club? Should everyone else boycott Disney? I’m not.

There was a demo against sportswashing fans organised when they played City.
The Disney thing is such a flimsy argument. That's an investment, its not Disney-washing. The Saudis aren't the new figureheads of Disney and you don't get marvel superheros having their outfits redesigned to look like the Saudi flag.

Other fans probably think it’s a belief that we’d go for Mbappe when every Spurs fan knows it means Real will put their energy into Mbappe rather than chasing Kane all summer

I would say usually that most spurs fans are self depreciating and it would be tongue in cheek, but with all the kids on twitter these days for whom everything is amazing or absolute dogshit with nothing in-between, I wouldn't be so sure...

Said to my 11 year old recently, imagine playing 6 days a week. Working through trials and training to become a pro. Getting a contract, getting to play your first match, getting a move to a top league, representing your country… being opened in a bronze pack on FIFA and some 11 year old calling you crap and sharing it with his mates.

  • I must say, I really like the vibe of Ange
  • think Ange is a decent appointment
  • Great appointment on paper, feels like he suits Tottenham culture
  • I wish likeable people would stop going to clubs I hate, first Potter to Chelsea and now Ange.
  • He seems like a great guy with a great back story who plays classy football and now I have to wish him to fail.
  • Loves to drop senior players who don’t buy in or aren’t capable.
  • All jokes aside, this is probably their most fitting appointment since Poch...feel Sp**s fans ridiculous delusions of grandeur will make this fail though.
I am being completely unbiased though, I reckon they are back now sadly!
  • I think mourinho and conte have stripped a lot of them of their delusions of grandeur, they have been humbled. The main thing I keep on hearing them say for next year is I want to see the team keep play entertaining attacking football
  • Trophies since the Premier League began in 1992... Sp**s - 2, West Ham - 1
Trophies since the turn of the ****ing millennium... Sp**s - 1, West Ham - 1
    Trophies since 2009... Sp**s - 0, West Ham - 1
...explain to me again how one is a big club but the other is just "little old West Ham" 🤔
  • Harry Kane scored more league goals than the Golden Boot winners from the other top four European leagues... and still didn't win one himself
  • Will never laugh at Kane, different breed to have the ambition to push a nothing team to unreachable heights. It's an honor to have such an excellent player as your rival.
  • Much more dominant figure than most managers; players seem to strike a balance of fear and respect for him.
They don’t have many big ego stars like Ronaldo anyway. Kane is the biggest star and doesn’t cause problems, especially as he will be getting a **** ton more service.
  • Him and Levy might actually work well if Ange is going to target younger, left field type players to help him build a new team etc, those aren’t coming with massive transfer fees. Similar to Potch.
The Levy issue only come to the forefront when managers are asking for expensive players and he’s blocking that.
  • His Brisbane roar sides he built in 2010 played a high press and much more sophisticated football than that was in the EPL at the time. I don't know whether he adopted it from Pep but the style was uncannily similar . He won the Asia Cup with our least talented Australian side .
I am interested what he think he can do with Sp**s though🤣. As far as I am concerned he wouldn't take the job unless he thought he could do something with the players he has atm .
  • Four year deal, wow. Seems they have resigned to the fact that they need to start from scratch and use the word "project".
Interested to see how Ange adapts his game. But they will be better with him there.

Painful to see they’re more level-headed than most of our fans on here

No doubt they’ll change their tune once we’re back ahead of them again

Probably the most complimentary thing i have ever seen written by a rival regarding Kane, and it came from a Gooner, don't know any of the posters over there but that one is clearly a 'football man'.

Found some of the posts on KUMB interesting:

S-H wrote: Would people have been happier seeing us play as Spurs did, but lose 3-2?

Not looking to dig anyone out, genuinely interested to know?
Its Spurs, honestly I'd rather do anything than admit it but if we're being 100% honest yes I would.

They've played dull negative football for the past few years and that was game 1 of Postecoglou. They had great ball players breaking between lines, tidy interplay, carved us open on several occasions.

They were naive in the first half with how high their full backs were playing and corrected it second half. But for a first game under new management they've got an awful lot to be enamoured with

Harry Kane, "snide"?!

It's because of that thing he does where he lets defenders jump over him and fall, isn't it?

Which he did about three times during one season, all while they completely ignore every other player who did it before and after him.

It's just amazing seeing other fan's perception of him. Most iconic and deserved England captain since Becks, and these fucking imbeciles all hate him. Granted Arsenal have to hate him, but he gets hate from everywhere
