I'm a bum at the moment (have been for the past week) so decided to do a bit of whoring this morning. Clicked on the first scum forum I saw and came across a horrible little article. It wasn't so bad until I saw the sign off from the poster.

This will make any man shudder:

Right then, here's what some nomads are saying:

After the great performances away against City and today vs Villa, we go to WHL high on confidence, in contrast to the last couple of games there.

Spu*s have improved recently, but they're still inconsistent at home, which could be an advantage for us. In case both Ox and Sanchez make it, Wenger will face a tough task to decide how to approach this game - will we sit and let Tottenham have the ball like we did against City, or will we try to make the game and be more open at the back, like today....

That decision will have a big say in terms of the outcome, but we will have some options on the bench to change the game if needed. The home tie against Spu*s ended in a joke 1-1, we can't afford to throw more points away, especially since Southampton lost today and ManUre will play at Upton Park Saturday evening.

Let's win this.

I'm so up for this one it's unreal, want to smash them. Love the derby, biggest game of the year. All the scum fans are piping up again, now Harry Kane's knocking them in. Let's put them back in their place, hopefully with Ox, Welbz and Alexis all available.

Welbz. What a prick.

Alexis for Theo, other than that the rest should remain the same, we should have too much for them. Thank god our defence has improved too otherwise I'd be talking about a potential 4-4 or something like that.

Derby day introduces those endless possibilities.

Potchettino has them playing some good stuff, Eriksen and Kane showing good form so they are going to be ready for this. They have shown they can do the job already this season against the leaders.

From our side, we are playing well and our players are looking in good touch. We have genuine options from the bench and our players are in good touch.

This is going to be an absolute cracker folks, probably one of the highlights of the season.

If there is any hint of Sanchez's injury becoming a persistent injury then he should sit for another week - as great as we were against Villa we need our big time players like Sanchez when the season hits crunch time and the CL/FA Cup/League games start to pile up

I'd rest him for this game again and bring him on as sub IF we need to find something

Same team as against Villa for me

Yep, never change a trashing team. Especially if the next opponent needs to be humialiated to put back in their spot.

Let's silence SHL. Only want to hear our awayfans.

They're a much more credible outfit with their current manager, I'm expecting a tough game.

We're in great form though, confidence is high, and we've got that extra quality that Spurs haven't. Hopefully we put on s show, if we light it up, they don't have enough to live with us.

To be fair, nothing that bad in all that. They know we can hurt them but are also rightly confident off the back of their good run

Fucking gooners.

WTF does this even mean?

The home tie against Spu*s ended in a joke 1-1,

That gem came from one of their mods. I could understand if they had 5 goals disallowed for off side or soemthing but 1-1 was a fair result, unless he considers any draw against us to be a joke which would then just point to him being a ****

He probably is just a ****, most of them are. They are such a bunch of smarmy ****'s that even when we beat them they go back to talking about winning the league at our ground. This is a real opportunity to stake a claim for fourth or third for that matter. We really need to beat them to stay in good contention otherwise we could have a five point swing to make up.

No need to add that, mate.

"Arsenal ****" is a valid definition of tautology.

For the first time in a long time they are underestimating us. We are very dangerous at the moment while a bit
inconsistent as well IMO. Kane could rip them to shreds if he's on his game. Eriksen is the silent assassin. Chadli can score goals. Lamela could build on his smarter and steadier performances recently and break out the flair in conjunction and finally produce and explode. Same goes for Townsend. Our defense is also pretty good for the most part. It's wierd though, they do a lot of things excellently and correct for the most part (walker Fazio rose Davies Chirches) but they are all prone to the odd mistake(especially Vlad). Vertonghen while not perfect is a big part of how we play with his distribution from the back and while not perfect, is usually a 7/8 player in defense. Lloris is just magnificent.

Anyway, what in trying to say is I think this team with a bit of time, work and key additions this team can be as good as the VDV Modric Bale Ledley dream team of 10-12 and possibly even better. I just wish this fixture was in another month or two. We'd be properly prepared and firing then.

I just hope Mauricio is an avid SC follower and puts up some of the arse anal fans comments on the dressing room wall:

This quote demonstrates their mentality quite well. We're in a transition year with our players still adjusting to Mauricio's tactics while the arse anal have had some 20 years of management continuity plus have recently payed out exorbitant amounts of money for Ozil, Sanchez etc and are still only 2 points above us. Class A clowns

Apparently Aaron Lennon is gonna leave Spurs tomorrow. Would be a good wing back in our system. But i doubt they'd sell to us. Probably destined for a mid table side or worse.

Headless chicken if I ever saw one.

Can see him going to QPR.

Going off the early back pages seems Adebayor will be the transfer deadline day leading man. QPR & Stoke mentioned but surely any team in trouble should be looking at him on loan. Fantastic player for 6 months.

Obviously he's got a heck of a lot more quality than most of the players in the relegation scrap, though you have to wonder if he'd even be arsed, especially if it's only a loan.

More sensible move than Newcastle surprised they were an option with a 6 month manager & the general unrest. Spurs are building a good young squad.

How come Spunks can sign a player then loan him back for the rest of the season to the club they're buying from, yet we've been told we can't do that with Ings?

He isn't signing from a club in the PL.

Lol they talk about beating us being the start to their title challenge and we talk about it being our serious top 4 challenge. Same old and neither will happen. Let's just smash them.

I think I just found the most level headed Man Utd fan in the world...

You'd obviously jump at £50 million

£50 million would eclipse the record for an English player and theres no guarantee Kane can repeat the goalscoring next season. It would obviously be madness to turn it down

:stop:
But it's proven so hard for Spurs to sign a striker capable of scoring 20+ goals per season. What good would £50 million do them? They've proven already how hard it is to reinvest money. It's easy to spend big money if you pay big wages, as you can buy the best players. The wages they pay mean they wont be able to get anyone top class.

You sell Carrick and end up with Zokora.
You sell Berbatov and you end up with Pavlyuchenko.
You sell Modric and end up with Dembele.
You sell Bale and end up with Lamela.

I can't see £50 million being a great incentive for them. For other clubs it would be totally different. For example, if Chelsea could get £50 million for a player like Kane, they should take it instantly as they'd be able to bring in someone much better. Or alternatively, as club like Aston Villa would be able to rebuild their team with £50 million, as they are pretty rubbish all over. But for Spurs, who aren't short of money anyway, to reinvest £50 million from Kane and improve as a result, is actually surprisingly difficult

Nice read on KUMB about Reid.

http://kumb.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=156260&start=560

While we naturally tend to have a very claret and blue tinted view of things, if you asked a neutral then I'm sure the view would be very different.

The reality is that Spurs have finished in a European qualifying spot via their league position in each of the last what?.... 6 seasons or so? and seem pretty likely to do so again this season. Whereas the last time we achieved this was way back under Redknapp, with us even having suffered a couple of relegations since then.

Irrespective of how they got there they are still in a Cup final (and from what I saw last week Spurs were miles better than Sheff Utd, with Kane especially having numerous chances? - also didn't their late goal just take them straight through instead of it going to extra time?)

Do you not think the reason that Spurs started slowly and have improved as the season went on is because their players are starting to get used to their new manager's ideas and way of playing?

Light years is probably the wrong description but 'a long way ahead' isn't wide of the mark. Remember also that this summer we have to sign two players that we currently have on loan in order just to stand still.

Offer any footballer the same money at either West Ham or Spurs and the player is likely to choose the latter I'm afraid..... and that's before they have even gone and looked at our club's respective training facilities - where the words 'lights years' really do apply!

Sorry, M8, but he ruined his argument when he said this:

LoL :)

Damn, for a split second I thought we'd signed Messi

Oh, we've made plenty of messy signings

Sorry, M8, but I just don't get this - we are an improving team and no more than a couple of points off 4th. I could get how you could say it was going to be a tough ask. I could get if you said we were one of the outsiders. But to totally dismiss our chances, under these circumstances, it's just beyond me.
