just been looking in my Chrystal bowl
How can you not know how to spell Crystal when you're a Palace supporter?

We beat Man U away twice in recent years. Only 2 and 3 seasons ago.
My aplogies, I misunderstood.I must admit I never commented on the Newcastle fixture, I was kind of hinting that we haven't beat Chelscum at SB since 1989, and not beat Yanited at home for ages 10? years
Can't see us beating spurs on Saturday without a new striker coming in before Saturday thought palace would of done there transfer business early considering we haven't scored for 5 games and the injuries we have had now it's going to be a panic buy on the last day of the window typical palace nothing changes there either
yeah...and I'm guessing he meant ball rather than bowl!!!
Kind of reinforces my feelings that I can't hate Man City. Much rather see them win the title than anyone else, if it ain't going to be us.

I do worry about utd.
They've been playing some dire football and getting a lot of stick for it but they're still hanging on in there.
They're in a good league position, especially considering the football they've been playing and the criticism they've had.
Same here. I seem to recall is was the same last season - they played shite football in the first half of the season but scraped results, then turned it on a little in the second half (that bastard 3-0 win still hurts a little) and finished comfortably in 4th. This season they've been notably worse, but I wouldn't be remotely surprised if they put a run of wins together and finished in the top 4.I do worry about utd.

I lump them into the Leicester category. I simply don't think they have much quality apart from Mata, Martial, DeGea. They're getting by on De Gea keeping them in matches. If that were to change, I could see them dropping down the table a little bit. They are on just as slippery of a slope as Leicester for me. And I don't see how they all the sudden start to click and make a title challenge. Simply put, I think they suck.
We have a harder run in from April on wards which will be really tough. We have massive games v top 4 rivals Man Utd and Liverpool (back to back) that could decide our season. If you look at the last 7 games, each team plays the below number of tough games on paper (of course anything can happen in any game in the PL).
Spurs - 5: Liverpool, Man Utd, Stoke (bogey team), Chelsea, Newcastle (bogey team).
Man Utd - 3: Everton, Spurs & Leicester.
Leicester - 3: Man Utd, Everton & Chelsea.
Liverpool - 2: Spurs & Stoke (bogey team).
Man City - 2: Chelsea & Arsenal
Arsenal - 1: Man City.
Edit: It's actually 6 for us, as we have only beaten West Brom once in the last 5 league games.
Anyone checked out the reaction of United fans to the Bale news yesterday?
That is true, and hopefully Newcastle will already be in holiday mode.Worth nothing that our record away to Newcastle reads much better than at home to them in recent seasons - also I expect them to be comfortably mid to lower mid table by the time we play them - they'll have very little to play for.
But as others have said, having a few big games can be an advantage sometimes as well, it sharpens the focus. Its the bus parkers I dread most, especially when we're desperate for the win.
And above all, the 'tough' games arn't so tough anymore either, like you say anything could literally happen. United and Chelsea are not the forces they have been, actually looking forward to those games as opposed to dreading them.
