Did we not get a huge amount of stick for celebrating the win against watford ? Liverlol, the greatest team to have ever existed have just beaten the might that is norwich and celebrated like they just won the champions league 86 times in a row and almost let Klopp crowd surf on them. Bet nothing is mentioned.

I think that reaction to the win is justified actually. Its all very In the Moment, in retrospect Klopp will be seething at conceding 4 goals

They're arsenal fans, they can't get their head around frozen foods let alone figure out what happens in a game of football.

the lucky bast***s got to see the goal, my coverage was so bad I never got to see the goal

they must also be worried about us watching us when we are not on without going to look for it

This was posted on RedCafe.

I'm genuinely envious of Tottenham's team/first-team set up.
This has never happened for me. Even when they had van der Vaart, Modric, Sandro, Bale... and were playing great stuff, they still only had Redknapp, and everyone knew they'd sell the key players eventually.

Now they have a younger team, a better manager, and I can't see any of them leaving them any time soon.
I really really like Pochettino. But I can't even see how things could align for him to become United manager.

And, as a side issue, I still maintain that United's regular first eleven isn't any better than Tottenham's.
Actually, I'm not even sure it's as good as Redknapp's old first eleven.
Similar team quality - van Gaal underachieving, whilst Pochettino's overachieving.

Spurs: 41 goals in, 19 goals out.
United: 28 goals in, 21 goals out. :(

They are actually going to be getting quite good in the next few years, I feel.

This too

James Maddison at Coventry has looked better than Ali in that league and is a few years younger. I would go for him for top dollor before Liverpool or Tottenham steal another English talent from under our noses.

Please let this happen.

A bit from the Shed End

how low have we fallen - we actually want Liverpool to win at Norwich.....sad times

Looks like we're getting overtaken by Bournemouth anyway as it stands, though I guess it keeps Sunderland where they are....

you guys have to watch delle ali's goal
holy sh*t

Spurs look a very good side; as you say that goal was pure class.

From Blue Moon

Alli and Bellerin are the best young players in the league. Alli is the best young English player I've seen for a long time. And in centre mid too, not an easy position to play at 27 never mind 19.

It was a Magnificent strike, to be honest I didn't think he was capable of something like that, the skill, awareness and execution was immense for a 19 year old.

Do you think many fans would be happy buying from lower leagues? Most I know moaned when we bought Delph

From RAWK

The staff on the committee and Ayre will continue to be a laughing stock for this in most of the public's eyes whilst most of Rodgers faults will have been absolved thanks to Alli.

we missed out on a Gerrard successor.

He's a great player and we can certainly use him now, but if he signed for us, we wouldn't exactly be matching Tottenham's current league position. Kane, Lloris and their center backs are much more important to their current success.

I think they can win the title.

From Arsenal Mania

Alli has always been a wonderkid, was pissing all over the championship as a teenager.

I think even Bayern came to watch him a few times. I'm just surprised he managed to fall into Spurs' lap. I guess the other teams were satisfied with their CM options

The lad will have options in the future.

He never played in the Championship, he has made the step up from League 1 which is pretty exceptional.

Sadly these knuckleheads are well in the title race and they got plenty of belief and energy .

English players get overhyped very quickly...i mean look at our own Jack...

But there is something special about Alli. His goals against Everton and today showed that extra bit of class that many young english players lack. If he keeps his head down he can be a superstar imo.

I don't feel Jack was overhyped , Alli isn't a patch on Wilshere as a midfielder

he's more like Ramsey .

Pochettino doing well, I am sure he will be managing a big club soon.

Dele Alli scored a truly world class goal today and i know this might not be popular to say this but i would take him over Ramsey any day of the week, because Spurs have got a potential top class player on there hands, and i bet most managers are kicking themselves for not taking a punt on him when they had the chance

You must be still in afterglow mode mate.

The boy has just appeared on the scene, granted he is in fantastic form at the moment, but he is still a boy.

Ramsey is proven, over a complete season, through a major injury, through rough patches. But best of all he is a mature player

He's scored a few great goals. If the Ox were scoring goals like the one Alli got against Everton, Arsenal fans would be creaming their pants.

Do not get sucked in by hype.

He is in amazing form, lets be clear about that. The rebuffs you are getting are clearly those who do not want to acknowledge a brilliant young Spurs player.

There is no denying that, what a find.

Spurs will get fourth, not a contest.

Red Cafe

Another important and tough win for this manager :)

How many years left on his contract? Perhaps it will run out just in time as we prepare to sack Giggs in 2018?

He's not great defensively but he's so much better than Ross Barkley it's not even funny. Time for the amount of press and praise they get to be reversed permanently.

Wow. I'd have that kid over any of our hopeless batch of midfielders.

FS Tottenham. They are looking serious now have to say.

Alli might not only be English, but actual world class. How much is that worth under the new TV deal? I´d poach the Spurs headscout, too. He just made Spurs at least a 70-80 million pound profit.

Btw honestly Tottenham and Arsenal play the best football, ahead of the Cities. At this stage d be shocked, if the top 4 are broken up.

He's 19 and not even played a full season of PL football yet. We've seen this with Wilshere, Barkley, Sterling etc. Don't get ahead of yourself.

Dele Alli has been a revelation for Spurs. Signed for 5 million and they say there's no value in the market

I must be honest and say that football is so tribal and full of rivalries that I can only really tolerate fans of clubs that aren't our rivals.

Other teams only exist so that spurs can play them.

Only going on what I read in this thread but city fans come across pretty well. I imagine having to share a city with man utd puts things in perspective.

When will they acknowledge the reason Alli didn't go to Liverpool had nothing to do with Rodgers or their committee but Alli turning Liverpool down? That's right you fucks, he didn't want to play for Liverpool.

Also, that Goon saying Alli isn't a patch on Wilshere is fucking jokes.
