Some more Stoke views. This time during the Spurs - assnal game discussion.

Good bit of sanctimonious head nodding from Vermaelen at the award of an Arsenal free-kick there.

They really do the sanctimonious stuff well don't they.

They remind me of the class snitch at my primary school
Kyle Walker - absolute dog shit
That was a great game.

Villas-boas is quite likeable isn't he.

White Hart Lane really is a fantastic ground for atmosphere

Are Liverpool fans really this blind? Reina's been really dodgy for quite some time now.World class? Please...

Agger is a good defender though, and Lucas is a good DM, and Sturridge, Coutinho and Suarez will be difficult to stop.

I think we'll have our hands full on Sunday.

Would also take a point but thank god I'm not in charge. In Suarez they have a player who could win it for them in the same way Bale could win it for us. They play lovely stuff if they're allowed to, I just hope we're on song to frustrate them and grind out the result in the "new" tottenham way.

Fair play to them, that is quality! I'd certainly be grumbling too if I had to watch that dire hoofball every week!

Agreed, but the same could be said about WHU as I've heard a few fans grumble about long balls there now

So they have the best player in the league in Suarez, every player of theirs in the rest of their starting XI is miles better than what we have, we've lost our 3 best players from last season and had our best defender and best CDM out for almost the entire season with dembele out for 10 games as well, they also have the best young manager in the league yet here we are 12 games unbeaten with 1 loss in 16 sitting in 3rd and there they are 12 points behind in 7th.

It's the refs I tell ya!

Sometimes I wish the people on RAWK would just stick to one argument, with regards to why ,even though we're higher up the table, they're better than us. It's either we've got shit players but a superior manager, or that they have the better manager but unfortunately spurs have the better players, but for god's sake don't pick both. It's some sort of Scouser Delusion Paradox. Unfortunately in RAWK , world class players + world class manager = 12 points behind a "one man team". o_O

I've heard that from Liverpool fans, believe me. Of course we have had a very high turnover of players so it makes our spending seem high but our net spend is very low. We got £30m for Berba and £20m for Keane and similar money for Modric. I think our record signing was around £16m

You only have to look at the average wage spend over the last ten years to get an idea who spends far more on players.

Adrian Durham runs him close on that, they have an agenda and cannot change

Yep. His latest gem is that we are only doing so well because the other teams aren't performing to their potential. Nothing to do with AVB at all.
