I've edited the title because I think this should now be a thread to discuss what players you would take from Southampton with the seemingly inevitable appointment of Pochettino.

So for me:
Shaw- Not going to happen- going to United
Lallana- Very slim chance-probably going to Liverpool but I wish we could sign him
Lovren: Yes fucking please- Gary Neville said he was the best signing of last summer for the first half of last season
Schneiderlin- I would like him but I don't think we need another midfielder
Osvaldo- Here is an interesting one- he seems to go wherever Poch goes- Saints won't keep him for obvious reasons and Juventus apparently won't sign him permanently- Also, Lamela knows him (although Osvlado apparently did punch him...)- He's a loose canon so not singing him is probably the best idea
Ward-Prowse- Would love him here
Lambert- I doubt it would happen...
Rodriguez- I can very much see it happening- he's injured but this means that we could get him for cheaper- Also, he's English which is always a bonus- has Levy written all over it-
Ramirez- Poch probably wouldn't want him as he doesn't seem to play him too much from the start- He's a very good player though

What do you guys think?

According to the latest ITK post we have signed Poch and his team so I guess that means we just signed all their players too.

So Luke Shaw at left back......etc....etc....

Shaw- Unattainable
Lallana- Unattainable
Lovren - Yes
Osvaldo- Fuck no
Ward-Prowse - Pass, won't get the chances with us.
Lambert - No
Rodriguez- Meh, indifferent towards this signing.
Ramirez- No, all t he natural talent but no determination or work rate.

I wouldn't mind Nathaniel Clyne, very good right-back and if we got him would consider letting Walker go...

Yeah that's right I said it bitches. :cautious:

Lovren
Chambers
Would love Shaw, but cheaper,Matt Targett heard he will slot in Lb, if they sell Shaw
Dont want Lallana, think we could do better with the money quoted, IE Firmino, same with Rodriguez,a bad injury, and we have players that can cover his position, plus would prefer to spend the money on an out an out ST like Lukaku. IMO

Tbh Lallana isnt needed and we have Eriksen Holtby
Rodriguez. .. indifferent edging towards no
Shaw. Yes but don't think possible
Lovern. I'd like for us to get Caulker back tbh.

so to conclude imo shaw would improve the rest I dont think so.

Lovren has to be the one we target.

Also, if we didn't have Sandro, I would buy Schneiderlin in less than a heartbeat. By every type of rating a player, be it the eye test, statistically, how he plays against us, he always impresses. Covers more ground than almost any midfielder in the division and is an excellent anchor. I would love him.

Rodriguez may come but just... why? He's alright, but he's not that special signing that would set the tone for the season.

Clyne should be the rotation option for Walker if Naughton wants to leave for first team football.

Rodriguez all day long! Get him in please Poch! Get him at left wing, an intelligent, hard working, English, goal scoring winger. Perfect

Shaw only for me. Replace our worst player with someone who has the potential to be world class

You think Schneiderlin is better than Paulinho.........

...........

...........

Actually yeah. Led Tackles and Interceptions for the 2012/13 season and had a 85% pass completion.. He would be formidable with Sandro next to him.

Shame Osvaldo is such a loose cannon. Bags of ability.

I don't think we will sign anyone from Southampton.

Lovren looked good for a large part of last season but he was comical at the Lane when we beat them.
