I am so happy in America other networks are starting to show Premier League content, I remember a few years back ESPN FC was literally the only show I could watch. It was awful. I haven't watched it in years since NBC and YouTube starting having PL shows that provide highlights and information.

In fact, ESPN is terrible for all sports. I wouldn't recommend anyone watching it, ever!

It seems to be because they're an American based company the pundits can go over there and speak complete shit because the audience don't know any different, they couldn't say half of this shit on British TV without getting called out on it.

Tbf, when Liverpool finished 2nd last time they were campaigning for them to share the trophy, so it has some sort of consistency.

Having moved to the US a few years ago, I’ve been pleasantly surprised by NBC’s coverage. It’s arguably better than Sky’s, which is seemingly becoming more reliant on “banter”.

ESPN FC, however, is an abomination. It’s almost impressive how Steve Nicols can impart his ‘insights’ with the ease and confidence he does, considering how inane and and ridiculously his opinions are. ESPN+ is good for $5 a month though as they have rights to Serie A and the Bundesliga.

I agree with that, I should clarify, ESPN is good for their live sports. But any shows are a joke. $5 a month for 5-6 different leagues plus the FA cup and league cup is a good price.

NBC's coverage has been fantastic IMO and grows every year. I disagree with a few pundits on what they say about Spurs but when discussing non-Jose topics, they are usually very good. Just a few of them have some bias towards Jose that makes everything they say about Spurs bias and utterly pointless.

But again, $5 a month for NBC Peacock which now has their own PL channel, is pretty nice.

Unless someone is saying something particularly egregious or untrue, I tend not to pay attention to whatever is being said about us. People have different opinions and preferences for how the game should be played, and that's perfectly fine. So yes we're top, but I don't think it's unreasonable for people to suggest that we could be playing better, or doing certain things better even when we are winning. Even as a fan, though I can't remember any other point in my 35 years of following Spurs where we've been top for 2 weeks, I'd be lying if I said this was anywhere near the most enjoyable it's been for me, even while I'm delighted with our position. It's ok to enjoy something and still be critical.

So what? They also say it differently too. Don't be angry.

A few excerpts

Tottenham returned to the top of the Premier League despite being held by Chelsea in a highly-competitive yet goalless London stalemate.

Spurs, replaced at the top by Liverpool on Saturday, return to the summit, level on 21 points with the Reds but with a superior goal difference

Barring Leicester beating Fulham by a six-goal margin on Monday, Spurs will head into December looking down on the rest.

So what if someone, somewhere doesn't word it to your taste. It's also there on the BBC worded how you'd like it so no, it's not a thing at all.

We need to stop being so precious about it.

Anybody should be able to listen to one of our players for 30 seconds and realise they're just desperate for a trophy at any cost.
And if we win one of the big trophies (PL or EL) Jose can do whatever the fuck he wants next season and I'll still love him.

Sorry boss, it was very much tongue in cheek, I made the same point last week as well, I’m not angry really?

Unbelievable. Arsenal won the FA Cup by going a goal up against City and then playing 11 men behind the ball. Nothing said. We're far from a Tony Pulis team ffs!!

Jamie Redknapp just said Jose’s way of coaching is the easiest way to coach a team.... Tell you what Jamie, why don’t you go into management and win everything then?

Souness: ‘Spurs haven’t got that player to make that final ball, the eye of a needle pass’.... he even called Ndombele unadventurous and hard-working earlier on. This guy is a genuine fuckwit.

I don’t think sky have a bias against Spurs or anything like that, I just think the pundits they have on aren’t very good.
