Does this open the door of opportunity?!

A big, big win against Chelsea, sitting 2 points out of 4th, above Arsenal, and a nice run of games in front of us (see below). A positive window and a run in these games could truly set up for a special second half of the season, and a brilliant beginning for the Pochettino era.

I feel like today was a big, big moment for Pochettino & this young team. Ripping apart the best team in the league like that. Can't imagine the confidence they're going to be imbued with.

It's been a stunning turnaround this past month or so. Excellent to see.

Whenever we have an "easy run" we blow it and scrape 4 points from a possible 15.

Surely this has to be our chance to push on and not make any mistakes.

We haven't pressed our advantage and taken a chance in January transfer windows in the past, but with the television revenue massively increased, there is absolutely no excuse not to make money available for Poch to bring in 2-3 players to strengthen this squad. No nonsense about "doing a Leeds." We earned 33 million more pounds this past season in television revenue than the year before, and that money will continue to increase, so there is no reason Poch shouldn't have 20 million pounds on top of money brought in from sales to bring in a CB, CM, and striker if he sees players that he wants.

The only other thing opening should be Levy's purse. To my shock, we actually have a chance of Top 4 now and if Levy invests in top, first-team quality players Poch wants, we could vastly improve our chances. It won't happen though, unfortunately.

That's why I think we need another goalscorers in jan as a must. If we beat the weak teams we are in with a chance of 4th. We only have to go to utd and Liverpool now

Agree on this but let's not forget it's jan. Soton aren't going to sell MS, bony will be 30 mill plus. I'm not sure who's out there we can get now

You have to be careful not to stifle the development of players like Mason, Kane and Bentaleb. We always call for new signings but the best players we have, have come from within this season... Stambo will likely fill in and Dembele did well today. Maybe Paulinho will come good.

I'm much more comfortable with this guarded pessimism!! :)
