ramos didnt buy 5 15 million pound players

jol was given the likes of kaboul, boatang, and gunter when he asked for fernando torres, and nigel de jong
Jol had Berba, Davids, Defoe, Keane, King, Carrick, Lennon, Jenas, Huddlestone, BAE, Bale, Chimbonda, Dawson and an in-form Paul Robinson.

Ramos had a lot of these players too plus Woodgate, Hutton, Bent, Pav and Gomes - a lot of these players weren't cheap.

Please stop this preposterous idea that Harry is doing well coz he's been given disproportionately extra money and players and his job is easier as a reult.

I wasn't 100% sure on his appointment, but I was in a bad mood about the club as a whole. Also his name was under question following the bung scandal. However, he ahs been brilliant for the club, both on and off the pitch, and I am really glad we've got him.

Someone said a couple of days ago, here on S.C., what more do we want ?

We have a Londoner, managing a London club, supported by, initially London and now worldwide fans.

I'll go out on a limb and say right now, 'Arry's the best manager we've had since Billy Nick and come the end of the season you will ALL be agreeing with me.

QUE VIVA 'ARRY REDKNAPP

The big thing for me is Harry's ability to bring a strong team of assistants/coaches/mentors.

They have made a big difference with individual players, something I did not see under Jol, Ramos et all.

My target is still 24 points from 8 games!

If less - Redknapp out!

I dunno, I think Moniz wasn't bad under Jol but definitely Arry has got a primo setup.

They won't admit it.

I remember my dad phoning me at midnight when Harry was appointed. I told him that was the best signing we had since Venables.
I have had a great season at the Lane. The 9-1, wins against Man City, Liverpool, Chelski and the Goons will live long in the memory.
A great 1st full season in control and lets hope we can continue this next season.
I can't wait to hear this at the Lane in August.

I had doubts over his appointment, I still do have doubts about some of the things he does. The semi final against portsmouth was a big disappointment but finishing fourth is an excellent achievement better than what I had hoped for. So because of that I think he has earned himself a long contract and we should stick with him for the foreseeable future.

Switching on the internet that night, dreading the latest news on the eve of 2 games that could see Spurs effectively relegated at arsenal of all places (remember it would have taken a switch from the worst ever Premiership record to Champions League form to rescue a loss v Bolton and arsenal), to see that Levy had dismissed Ramos and Harry was on the way was one of those 2where were you moments"....in Levy we trust. ... Happy with Harry alright. ..... oh the fun of watching Bentleys goal and those equalisers versus arsenal.... especially so that arsenal thought they were heading to the top of the league with Spurs at the bottom..... oh joy.
