ive given up on getting tickets. Prices have skyrocketed and I can't get these ridiculous websites verified by visa for four days now.

Where is a good place to go to watch the game in London? Any area is ok.

Prices have been cut to £30...

Looking for a place myself. Been going the dodgy stream route for away games of late but I'll need a pub up Watford Way for this one.

Anyone sometimes think the worst part of a football day is actually going to the football? So many times I've wished I stayed in the pub. That's not down to results either btw.

when i was more mobile and was younger, i couldn't wait for the Saturday to arrive, but being a Spurs fan every win was special because you never knew or had a fucking clue what would happen the week after. i really miss those days, but can honestly say i never wished I'd stayed in the pub, though in those days the pubs closed at 3, and re-opened after the games

Asleep, like any other nightmare.

After switching to BT I now feel obliged to sit through every second of our games when they show them.

They're showing every one of our games this month. Arsenal, Monaco, West Ham, and Chelsea. November is going to be fun o_O

You do know that its entirely possible that we play very well and get a result don't you?

Having said that, once again i'll make the observation that the mass pre-match expectation of a thrashing won't be mirrored in the over the top wrist slitting overreaction if we do lose.

I have to admit the phenomenon amuses me.....

Loads of SC'ers: We're gonna get beat

We get beat

Loads of SC'ers: ****s! wankers! shameful, worst team ever! Not fit to wear the shirt, pathetic, my life is ruined, take the pills! raging, seething, spite and vitriol........yatta yatta yatta......

.. and Wednesday games broke up the week, got paid on the Thursday so the weekend started whereas Tuesday games made a longer week.

I bet the atmosphere was decent and it diddnt cost an arm and a leg to go and sit and tut...

It's the atmosphere that makes me want to stay in the pub. Results come and go...

At the brother in laws. He's an Essex boy who likes Everton. With no scouse connection, whose dad is also from Essex and supports West Brom.

Bunch of weirdos.

But I'll be safe from abuse at least, if it all goes horribly wrong.

It's the mannor of the defeat that's usually the issue.

well it was when the majority of the ground was standing, we used to in those days have an atmosphere coming from East South and North stands, the shelf being the main. think when they made the center of the shelf the new enclosure and made the west stand all seating is when we hit a low point in crowd attendances.

away games where brilliant whether going up by train, Keithy Robins or like me and 3-4 other coaches via the Spurs supporters club, though being on the wrong coach sometimes dampened the atmosphere depending on the main body, blonde Molly. if she got out of bed the wrong side you wished you was on 1 of the other coaches:ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:

even up to the age of 18 i used to always try and get in via the kids entrance, and 99% of the time succeeded even at the height of just over 6ft, smelling of smoke and beer at a cost of £2.50 if i remember:ROFLMAO:

i sometimes wish I was 15+ years older though, born in 64 i missed too much of what was great times, and started going when Billy Nick was ending his reign nearly went down in 75, went down in 77, but I only got to see them up to 84 (though missed being at the UEFA Final night due to a new job) and after that due to work, finances and being an all seater I spent most of the time following us via telle text, with the odd game.

The funny thing is even with our shit 90's early 2000's but a tidy last 11 years, I really wished i could go back in time and really enjoy it again, the only real downside being Liverpool being very dominant.

Bang on.
I loved going to watch spurs when Keane was playing. Wasn't expecting a win most of the time but I knew we'd fkin give it a bloody good go, try to win, and I'd be entertained.
That display last night was not acceptable and I'm sad to say I wont bother going to our next game now.
I'm not taking a day off work, driving over a 5hr round trip, paying for tube, food, fuel etc, get home at 1:30am and up for work at 7am so I can watch a fkin display like that.
I was and am disgusted frankly.
As far as Sunday goes I think I'll be behind the sofa watching through my fingers after recent performances.
If we do turn in a quick paced performance as we did against Man City it'll make recent showings even more frustrating.

Where are prices £30? Can't find anything under £300.

Tickets are now capped at £30 for the visiting 'away' supporters so if your a season ticket holder that's what it costs now if you apply for a ticket and are successful by having enough loyalty points

I missed out by a few points so will be behind the sofa probably

PS I stopped going away when the prices went to around £60, was becoming a joke
