All these 1-0.

Every week I say Leicester will drop points and they churn out another win.

Looking at their fixtures, I really can't see where they'll drop points....and we have massive hurdle at Anfield and Stamford Bridge.

I just can't get over this.

It's fucking phenomenal and totally deserved if they go on to win it despite all the bitterness (that includes me at times).

Wes Morgan is playing like Baresi. Wes fucking Morgan.

I'll say it again, it will be the greatest team achievement EVER in my eyes.

Crazy times but they keep on winning. The remaining fixtures are better than they have recently overcome. Going take something huge for us to win now.

Being honest I can't see them not winning it now. It partly makes me want to curl up in a corner as I can't believe how close we are. Just have to make sure we keep winning and finish as high as possible.

Sorry, I don't agree with this at all. It is entirely possible that they could drop points at any time, none of their games are what you'd call rampantly easy. Wether we can take advantage or not is another matter :(

I like your optimism. I think mine has wained as I expected them to drop points in the games they have been scrapping 1-0 so now I'm not expecting them to drop anymore.

That said I agree with you, even if they do I can't see us going on the sort of winning streak required to take advantage of it.

I was discussing yesterday with a West Brom fan about how frustrating it was to see us miss out on the league title because of Leicester's amazing run. I was saying how gutted I am that we'd been biting the heels of the top 4 for near enough a decade now, and since all the other fuckers have fallen apart this has been our best chance to achieve what we'd thought as being impossible. If we were currently 2nd with Chelsea, City, Arsenal, United or even Liverpool in front of us I'd understand. But Leicester just feels bizarre. Fair play to them I guess, it's even more of an achievement for them, but it still kinda hurts.

That's when he put things into a little bit of perspective for me. He said that as a Baggies fan he's just as frustrated that it isn't his club. I mean why not? Not saying that they could do it with Pulis, but when it comes to club size, stature, support and finances (when you consider how much that Leicester team cost them) you'd argue that any other fucker in the league, bar the relegation fodder, should've been able to do the same. Leicester have just stumbled across a unique combination of having 2 or 3 massively in form players and a manager with the right attitude. Combine that with a bit of luck and there you have it.

I reckon this kind of season comes once in a generation. We can say that we've missed out, but let's be honest, so can anyone else the level of Leicester and above. If they could do it, why couldn't anyone else? Plus, the likes of Chelsea, City and Arsenal must be kicking themselves even more. I'm feeling a little less bitter after that chat at least...

Agreed, but on the last bit, the only team that has the "right" to feel hard done by is the team that finishes 2nd behind Leicester..

At eight points clear it feels like it's pretty much over. At five points it's still undecided. It's annoying that teams don't still play on the same day.

The two matches that keep this alive is Soton and West Ham (which maybe the most difficult team in the prem). If they come out unscathed out of those, then they absolutely deserve the title. In every aspect they keep the dream alive for any club, making this so historic and unbelievable.

I'd add the game at Sunderland to the list of potential banana skins for them.

If we don't win it I want them to. It's going back a few years but a mate of mine (and his brother both big Foxes fans) used to get us tickets and of we go to Filbert Street. A long drive from Cornwall ,and back but we had some great days out. Stop at the service station for breakfast then to the Black Horse for the pre-match beer. Then off to the footie, some great times sorely missed, along with some of the chaps that went to the games.
