The amount of people on here that believe the worst of ENIC and THFC even after the massive investment in training facilities, academies and new stadium is astounding. They must have a mental picture of silent movie heavies looking salaciously at the land and twiddling the ends of their handlebar moustaches.

I had my first round of golf there, is it still playable and if so has anyone played it recently?
Off topic I know, but ....

Agree it is astounding what people believe . ENIC & the club have put an awful lot into the local communities of Haringey & Enfield and this looks to be a fantastic development plan and no doubt like the stadium & Hotspur Way will be of the highest quality.

Boy there's some cynics in here, its basically a win win for everyone.
The club gets the facilities it wants right adjacent to the existing men's training ground keeping everything effectively on one campus.
Enfield council gets a public facility for the use of it's residents with no outlay and it's all paid for by Tottenham Hotspur.
If houses were ever possible on Whitewebbs it would have been done a long time ago, that land for housing would have been worth an absolute fortune for three qurters of a century.

It’s not the clubs money anyway is it, it’s ENICs.
I thought it was the clubs money. AFAIK all Spurs related property deals are financed via the club, often in the form of loans. I may be wrong of course as it's a complex area
Will look out for some of our more knowledgeable posters views on this, as I am no expert

It's the club's money. Why would it be Enic's?
That was my thought too

My understanding is its THFC's money like the stadium which is why all the income is the club's

Yeah it’s on the club website I’d presume it’s club money. They are doing up 2 buildings, putting down a few pitches and tidying up the grounds I doubt all in all it’s more than £5m. Probably a lot less.

I just thought it was another one of their developments. If rent is being paid out of the club each year then it makes me curious about how the buildings around the stadium will be treated once they are built.

As I say I'm no expert, but I think all the Spurs related developments including all of the Northumberland Development Project are club related expenditure with the income coming back to the club, though perhaps via different subsidiary companies.
But I could easily be wrong
