Why the dislike @Hercules ? Am I missing something?I can’t imagine that this land cost anything like the transfer fee and wages of a premier league player, nor do I think it’s an overly fair stone to cast after the comparatively decent outlay last summer.
I’m not fussed about net spend as long as there is business done which makes sense, so I’ll hold my powder dry on that until the end of the transfer window.Last summer we were still spending 4 x seasons of CL money, I believe. We’re currently told we’re back to having to sell before we can buy.

The best way to attain global reach is through success, here in the states there are City and Chelsea fans in abundance where as before you wouldn’t have seen any. Of course the other way to get global reach without the risk and not prioritizing on field success is avenues such as NFL so you’re not wrong.Every investment company which owns a football club, which is them all bar a few, are trying to increase revenue through different methods. We don't have the global reach of Liverpool or Man Utd so are being more creative, stadium/NFL than those 2 who want a closed European competition and exclusive TV rights.
The only thing Enic are doing wrong in my eyes is not putting a stong club structure in place to define a playing ethos and transfer policy.
Only way you’d get me in a metroWhen I was about 17 one night my mate crashed his mini metro through the cafe at Whitewebbs...this was back when driving whilst high as fuck was ok.
Always sad to see a golf course go, regardless of what they develop on it.
I used to walk there as a kid with my dog. Started down Jones Road, Goffs Oak.Always sad to see a golf course go, regardless of what they develop on it.
I'm not a golfer but it was just crap, owned by the council, badly maintained and hardly anyone ever playing on it.Always sad to see a golf course go, regardless of what they develop on it.
Starts with a par 3 which is never a good thing in my opinionI'm not a golfer but it was just crap, owned by the council, badly maintained and hardly anyone ever playing on it.
Spurs have apparently bought up Whitewebbs Golf Course with a view to building an NFL camp - yet continue to plead poverty when it comes to transfers.
Is this good business or is it a case of ‘there used to be a football club over there...’?
What is an NFL camp?
Loving the Potter photo chap! When I was about 17 one night my mate crashed his mini metro through the cafe at Whitewebbs...this was back when driving whilst high as fuck was ok.

£80m will buy you most of Edmonton.Depends how you look at it. We could spend £80M on a foreign star player who flops badly or we could invest in infrastructure that guarantees us massive increases in income for years to come.
And they will not destroy our training pitches.I'm gonna go ahead and assume it's an alternative to NFL teams using our training facilities & Spurs Lodge etc.
So basically a purpose built facility for the NFL teams that use our stadium when everything is back to normal (or as close as it can be).
