Now England aren't in it, me and a few mates have put money together and whacked it on spain at 7 or 8-1, I can't remember, and we're making a real passionate go of it.

So are you avoiding football altogether? from a country which have qualified? or changing allegiances for a month?

Just what I'm doing... tho I think I might put some cash on Germany! Infact... I might go check the odds now!

Germany are favorites... that's no fun

Germany 4/1 Switzerland 20/1
Spain 6/1 Greece 25/1
Italy 7/1 Russia 25/1
Portugal 7/1 Sweden 25/1
France 8/1 Turkey 33/1
Holland 10/1 Poland 40/1
Croatia 12/1 Romania 50/1
Czech Republic 16/1 Austria 66/1

There're the odds!

I'm supporting Spain, will be like following England. loads of great individual talent, will be hyped up to win and will then go on to self implode and probably lose on penalties

I'd be very tempted to take a punt at Romania at 50/1, they won their group over Holland and played some great football.

They're in the 'group of death' but their players are good enough to get through on their day. And after that anything can happen.

So why are so many supporting the Oranje? the all out attacking football intentions or? They are the team I'll be cheering on if my Sweden were to go out. And will be interesting to see how the cope in the group of death... and if Greece win it again I'll bloody stop watching football!

holland lost their last game on purpose to avoid being in the number 1 brackets for the draw. but germany drew so they were still in the top pot.

Whether Holland played a weakened side or not, Romania still played some good football and 50/1 for them to win it is outrageous. I would've put them along with the Czechs at 16/1 personally.

i think it has something to do with the group that they are in.. me personally i think one of the dark horses like russia or poland will end up in the final alongside italy or spain.

italy are the clear favourites with luca toni upfront, nesta et al in defense, pirlo in midfield and buffon as goalie.

If they end up with Italy it's curtains, but if they end up with Spain they'll probably win!--my guess is that Spain will go out early, especially since people are starting to talk about them winning this summer. Its tradition...just like the hyping and eventual disappointing performances of our beloved Lions.

Russia will be interesting to watch, lots of talent but the question remains can they get it together and make it all work.
