I'll be supporting Germany (I could get dual nationality if I wanted, I'm not just being traitorous). I'll also be watching all of Croatia's games and keeping an eye on the Czechs.

I was planning to support Italy, as always, for the gorgeous shirts and hunky players and Azzuri swagger.

And Holland, for my good friend in Amsterdam.

But now it's CROATIA ALL THE WAY BABY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

& boring football?

Italy are the Chelsea of international football.

It would have been Italy, but they are world champs so i wont.

It was then going to be spain, another team that never quites does what they are exspected.

But it can only be Croatia now.

All you lot suddenly wanting Croatia to win are nuts. I want them out at the first possible chance for 2 reasons: First of all the less they play the less chance our new signing has of picking up an injury. Secondly, if they get knocked out quickly then he can get to pre-season a lot quicker and be fresher than if he had spent his summer in a tournament that I no longer have any interest in.

Well said. I was thinking a similar thing. It would be just our luck that we sign Modric and in the Euro's he gets injured.

I will be supporting Holland in the tournament, but if I want an experience as close to supporting England in a tournament it would be Spain as they always go into tournaments with people expecting things and always flatter to deceive.

Yeah, but they dress good, and are easy on the eye.

But saying you'll *support* them cos our new signing plays for them is not the same thing as hoping they'll win the whole shebang!

Naturally I'll feign disappointment when they go out, and usher Luka off to a brief vacation before meeting up with Ramos and the lads for pre-season innit!

For him to be instrumental in helping Croatia win Euro 2008 would be great for him, and us. Just as long as he escapes without injury.

France, because I'm half-French. I was probably going to support them anyway though, just because they're better. I'm allowed to do that though because I'm genuinely half and half, and I don't especially feel strongly about international football. In fact I think it'll be more exciting with England not being in it. And there are a number of teams in there that could win it.

Its Italy for me. I don't think we'll win it, but it'll be good to get back to back victories by winning the World Cup and Euros.

Italy haven't been great since the World Cup, but still have a great side, and are so hard to beat.

Really, I couldn't care less. Time was, international footy was the pinnacle; nowadays, it's largely shite.

Every team who is playing against Italy, simply because I can't cope with another two years of stick everywhere I go. In the office, out of the office all I hear about is how Italy are world champions.

Might have been the Czechs, but not now Nedved isn't playing.... (Or is he?!)
Might even have been the Frenchers, but not now Zizou isn't playing.

So Croatia then.
