The north London club hope the recruitment of two players in particular has hastened their journey to achieve something tangible.

Spurs need them both really, but if it came down to whom was the most valuable for the team I would say Lloris, no doubt about it.

Lots of good keepers around, and some of them can actually kick the ball properly...

Excellent as Lloris is I would be less concerned at seeing Vorm on the teamsheet than I would any of the potential replacements for Walker, Fazio, Vertonghen, Bentaleb, Mason, Eriksen, Chadli or Kane. It is not that I think those players are more exceptional than Lloris, it is just that they are less replaceable from current resources.

Hi 'eddie...' I see both you and 'Lexington' are basing your choice more on whom would be easier to replace and of course it does make some sort of sense seeing as the club has Vorm. However the question is more like which player is the 'most vital to success' and I would still argue that Lloris has been our most vital player; week after week he has made 'vital' saves that have kept us in games. We could replace Lloris with Vorm - we wouldn't even have to trade here - but I don't think Vorm would have performed week after week at the same level that Lloris has.
Also, your "lot's of good keepers around comment" is, I feel, just not giving Lloris the credit and respect that he deserves.

Hugo may have saved a lot of points for us (as has Eriksen), but when it comes to making our forward play fluent and dangerous, nobody is more important than Eriksen. As good and important as Hugo is, Eriksen is more important to our general play, not because he is better than Hugo, but simply because he is an outfield player.
