Nothing important, just out of curiosity...

Now we've signed Saha, was wondering who our last striker was who was also left-footed? Taking VDV out of this as he isn't an out-and-out striker, I have to go all the way back to Rebrov.

Have we had anybody since this?

Are you sure Rebrov was left footed?

That would be my 'learned something new, which replaced something i was absolutely certain about' of the day...

Mido, and before him was Rasiak, and before Rasiak was Bobby Zamora.

Rebrov was right footed.

Giovani is a bit like Robbie Keane, he is good as second striker, more upfront than VDV, i hope he would prove himself this time, still trust him !

Giovani is nothing like Robbie Keane

And Keane was better as the main striker anyway.

Ive always thought keane was overrated myself. Only seemed to play well with berbatov. Wasnt great alongside any other striker. He was a great great spurs player dont get me wrong. Hugely frustrating though. Perhaps your right about giovani but ive got to say when ive seen him play for anyone but us hes looked like a world beater talent wise. Perhaps England just doesnt work for him.

Never seen it myself, especially at club level. Spain and Turkey haven't been good for him either. Up there with the most over-hyped players there has ever been.

I agree with your Keane assessment though.
