didnt see the game yesterday as i was at a reunion with a mate ive not seen for 15 years, but reading the comments today i wonder who people think would get into our starting team from the chasing pack

I actually think if we can't get Adebayor permanently that Torres would be fantastic in our team because of the pace and width that we play with.

I think Chelsea's play is far too slow and predictable for Torres and he still has it, they just don't have the players to benefit him.

torress for defoe - good one for me i think toress being fed by modric would be amazing whicxh is why chelsea will chase him again in Jan

Essien is 3 years younger than Parker and I'm sure will get fit and back to his best by the spring. When they were in direct competition for a place a few years back Parker couldn't get a look in.

I wouldnt swop anyone!!! I love how the team has gelled and the way we play our football. We dont just have great individuals we have a perfectly balanced hardworking team, full of quality and to me that more than outweighs what any other individual can do.

It's a damn good question isn't it. It also depends on who our first 11 choice for us is doesn't it.

Taking my first eleven I'd swap Cech for any of our keepers. Sagna or Johnson for Walker. Mikel for Sandro, a fit Essien for Parker and RVP for Adebayor maybe.

Others that I like but am not sure if I'd squeeze them into our first team are Arshavin, Wilshire, Benayoun, Song, Diaby, Vermalien, Rosicky, Luiz, Ramries, Mata, Drogba, Torres, Malouda, Suarez, Gerrard.

I watched Chelsea yesterday and although the quality of the decision making by their players in the final third was better and more incisive than some of ours is at times, they were really poor as a unit on the second half.

I'm really not sure what style AVB is trying to establish because that was the first Chelsea game I've caught since he took over (I missed both the Liverpool games) but they didn't look the formidable proposition of years gone by.
