Booked triple room before the City 2nd leg for £165 (Damrak-City Centre) for me and 2 mates. Flight was booked the moment the date was confirmed for £205 return Heathrow (8th-9th). Just waiting to see how many tickets we are allocated. 7 of us travelling in total and my guess is only 3 of us will be successful.

Being a bit giddy after the city game, I booked flights & hotel for Tuesday 7th... cost me as much again to change them and haven’t told the wife ?

I am going sans ticket. I had a free voucher for Eurostar to use so getting train there Wednesday morning and fly back Thursday night for £40. I think one of the blokes on TFC pod is doing some comedy at comedy club in Amsterdam at lunchtime on the day.

So I missed Ajax away by a mere 270 points.

Missed by 62. That’s a mental amount of points for a European tie in a stadium that holds 55,000

Oh well, will still be a great crack over there, with or without a match ticket

It is an insane number of points... ive been looking into the potential final and how many points it could get to... I have circa 160 so i may get one if there are around 10-12k

Lets get past Ajax first - cos i get excited for this stuff

By coincidence, I’m going on a stadium tour at the ArenA JC this Friday, so let me know if there’s any juju magic I can do to jinx them whilst I’m there

The Dutch will be queueing up to have a pop at us.
Stay safe anyone travelling.

Nah, I don't think much of our fans cherish a aversion against Spurs. There hasn't been that much problems with the fans of other opponents here in Amsterdam on CL-nights. In fact, it has been mostly peaceful with both sides being close to each other.

yep I think the majority of us don’t have tickers and don’t anticipate getting any. Just Going out there for a trip and for the atmosphere. Gonna be a total spurs takeover of the dam

I’m going out there with 6 others for three nights. None of us have tickets, just hoping the first leg goes well.

Why did we only get 2,600 tickets ? I thought that away teams had to be given 5% of tickets in the Champions League - the capacity at Ajax is 54,990, which implies we should have been given nearly 2,750

I have over 400 loyalty points but less than the 418 that was the cut off for a ticket. What I don't understand is, if you look at the ticketing page on the club website, there are 2,510 season ticket holders with 400 points or more. So, even if everyone of them applied for a ticket, with an allocation of 2,600 everyone with over 400 and a few more should have got a ticket. How does this work ??
