think rose has been better this season than last and he'd definately get my vote, not been impressed with Davies, looks slow and indecisive more often than not, maybe hes still settling.

Think Rose has been better offensively and defensively than Davies this season, full credit to Danny. Davies has got a lot of work to do if he wants to be a regular in the first team in the future.

Rose has been better going forward but Davies is better at the back. If I had to choose one to keep it would be Davies.

I've given Rose plenty of stick, but he's looked better and better as the season rolls on and provides a real threat for us down the left.

I'm still high on Davies, but Rose is our best LB right now.

Rose, it's not even close, more pace, more attacking threat and there's not much difference in their defensive capabilities. Davies has been a huge let down, Tottenham was a step too far for him I think - Swansea was his natural level. Be at Villa with Hutton in a couple of seasons.

He's 21 years old.

Find it laughable people expect Ben Davies to come in and suddenly improve especially as he hasn't been able to build up any consistency.

Ben Davies could well be our best signing for years.

His arrival seems to have changed Danny Rose from hated laughing stock to one of our most influential and important players.

Pretty much agree with this, I think that Rose has upped his game due to the competition provided by Davies and fair play to him for doing so.

Davies seems to be a bit steadier but not as good going forward, whereas Rose is much more dynamic but at times seems a bit rash, he is improving all the time though. I'd go for Rose as the better option at the moment.

Personally I'd like an upgrade on both of them. Rose is far better than Davies going forward but Davies for the most part is more secure at the back. Is that Real Madrid fullback still for sale Concentrao ?

He won't get quicker as he gets older - it's a pretty essential component for a full back in a team that relies on its full backs getting forward. We bought Yedlin for the sole reason and also decided to convert Rose from a winger to a full back because of his pace.

Good Lord, no, that's an "Old Spurs" type signing - we bring them in young and fresh these days

I think Danny Rose over the whole season has not only been our best LB but in my opinion has been our best back four player.

I'm not sure if it's because of the unbelievable amount of dog shit left backs we've had over the years but the fickle nature of judging him is huge. One bad game and we need a new one and he's useless.
Personally right now I think him and Cresswell are the best two English left backs in the league.

Maybe we can improve that position but for me it's one of last areas I'm convened about.

Find it laughable when people quote age when defending a players ability. If you are good enough your old enough. I refer to players like Sterling and the likes.

Yeah the fact the player is very young can't be used to defend them at all, its not as if we've seen first hand players like Bale and Kane go from being not good enough aged 20 or so to world beaters within a few years.

Rose has surpassed most people's expectations this season - and's even had MOTM performances. Yes, he's still got his defensive lapses but he seem to still be improving. And remember, he's "relatively" new to the LB spot, having spent most of his footballing life as a LW. Sure, I would love to see an improvement on Rose but top-class LB are rare... and costly!
Davies has been very unconvincing in the games I have seen him play - he seem slow, and often caught out of position. And offensively he's not been that good.

Tell that to Ivanovic.

Because everyone peaks around the same age right?
