Doesnt stop at other clubs, the media have a right hard-on for spurs these days it seems..
Because we were the big bad wolf, the three bears, the giant at the top of the beanstalk, the witch in the gingerbread house.

Basically we've played out the panto villain in the Leicester "fairytale".

the chelsea thing is psychological

if we start from the origins of professional football in the late 1800s then basically chelsea have spent a huge proportion of their existence as being a smaller, less important club than us. It is a little bit of status anxiety with some added imposter syndrome. In their DNA they know their status is a new thing, that it might be temporary and in the shadows of their collective psyche they know they got a cheat code to be in their new elite position. They measure their new status by comparing themselves to Spurs When you think of it, of course they are obsessed with us. (and that's not even including the nasty anti-Semitic dimension that drives the far right element in their fan base to direct a lot of hatred toward us)

was surprise at the amount of abuses players like Kane, Lamela get from instagram.. vile, racist and hatred.. the way they can hate them, especially attacking them personally, is out of this world, surely there is more than football in lives?

Probably because of the bizarre victim complex some are demonstrating on here...

I think that had we be going up against Man City, Chelsea, Arsenal etc. then it would have been different but we love a plucky underdog in this country. Had we not been involved in the title race then I'm sure that we would have been rooting for them too (I definitely would and I wouldn't have given a stuff about their tactics). My only irritation is not towards Leicester but with the media who will milk it for weeks until we are all heartily sick of it.
I'm already sick and tired of the media jacking itself off constantly over something that, after all, doesn't matter that much. And we'll have to suffer Golden Bolllocks Lineker every time we watch footie on the BBC this summer.
When you consider the stuff they should be concerned about...

Nobody hates Leicester because none of us believe they can be a consistent title challenger
However, we are relevant. We are simply a threat, and we are clearly improving.
I think it also explains why many people hates West Ham, though we are progressing ahead them. But I think West Ham also significantly improving as long as they can build a team around payet and the new stadium

Because we're now a serious threat to what they want their own clubs to achieve, and none of them saw it coming :sneaky:

Whatever other clubs fans think or feel about us as a club is totally irrelevant. Their noise about us becoming relevant is a sign of fear of what the near future holds. We are a club on the up, now showing we have an uncharacteristic steely determination and it is starting to get noticed. I take it as a compliment about their awareness of us now, and we should all revel in that!

Personally, I don't rise to it too much, as my focus is on what we do as a club. I just sit their with a sinister smile everytime I see any other clubs fans slating us, knowing that they are starting to fear us. :D:D

The London clubs have hated us for aslong as I can remember. Nothing to do with being good now etc.
