Why don't we have any bollocks?

It seems an ongoing theme with Spurs. We just dont seem have the bollocks for a fight. This is supposed to be the best Spurs team for years yet this season we have lost 5 2 to the scum and humiliated 5 1 to the other scum live in front of the whole nation.

We have the so called captain fucking fantastic in Scott Parker yet we still look so soft.

We seem to always capitulate when things go against us and we just don't seem to have the fighting instincts other more successful clubs have yet we have better players than them in my opinion.

Something isn't right. Something is rotten at the club, we don't seem to be made of the right stuff.

Who's to blame? I dislike Harry immensely and think he should go but to be honest I can't blame him all for this. It runs much deaper than that and it been like it for years!

Why??!!

Lack of winning mentality/attitude from the manager down.

vdV and Gallas are the only two exceptions we have (which is 2 more than we've had in decades).

Can't believe chelsea smashed us 5-1 at 6 pm on sunday and are beating barca tonight. :(

We really need to get it together this weekend.

Chelsea are playing a form of Catenaccio.

Plus, home is quite the advantage in these occasions. At the Nou Camp it will be very different.

A winning mentality will come from a winning manager and most importantly good players. We have to many Kranjcar type players who are good with the ball but shit without it.

We need a clear out. I think should be gone: Friedel, Cudicini, Bentley, Gallas, Kranjcar, Nielson, Dos Santos, Defoe, Saha.
Maybe: Jenas(I think he'd be good in 3 man mid) Corluka, Bassong, Modric (if he wants out). I'm more inclined to keep the maybe's.

Neilson left years ago - though I will always remember his goal in the Cup Final.

The problem is when we play our no bollocks midfield combo of Modric, Bale & Lennon and Redknapp sits there twitching while none of them show any.

We showed plenty of bollocks at Chelsea, Sunderland or even against Swansea where we had to get right up em to stop them getting into rhythm and did. Even Ekotto was getting tenacious.

Players like Parker, Sandro, VDV, Adebayor, Gallas, Kaboul and even Walker are all good competitors. We don't lack bollocks really, we lack direction sometimes and when we play our three softest tossers in a four man midfield it makes us easy to bully in the most important area.

Agree with BC, direction, tactics, belief from the manager down rather than just being a bunch off pussys!

I was having this exact conversation with a mate earlier, why is our team such a bunch of pussies....? The way they have capitulated these last 2 months is unacceptable....

I hate talk of fight and bollocks. It's really not that necessary in football.

Determination, direction and team togetherness over-rule simple fight. A high-pressurised game and the whole team being on the same page is what we need.

Parker as a primary defensive midfielder and Sandro pressing high would give us necessary protection and not allow the opposition to breath so much in possession.

England's sole tactic for the last 50 years is 'bulldog spirit' and it doesn't work. Other nations are progressing and we need to develop a more intelligent style of play than 'lets work really hard.'
