his legs were just offside, but his head was about 1 and a half feet offside, which in the law is offside (any part of the body that can play the ball)

no it wasn't harrys typical disinterested face, it was a look of....bemusement, perplexment and annoyance all rolled into one delicious "how do i not start him now" package

While i know that hindsight is a wonderful thing, i can't help thinking we would have had a better points tally to date if SuperPav had come on as a sub in the Villa/Hull/Wolves/Brum games.
Will cost us eventually.
Not for all of them, i think.agreed but he was injured in those games.
Sorry bro, but I gotta disagree
Arry always looks like that, it was just the commentary and the timing of the cut that made it seem like he was disappointed that pav scored.
I just watched his post match interview and he was full of praise for pav. Something like "he's a top, top player when he wants to play".
The only thing that wants Crouch to start is Dawson's right foot!!!! Everytime we start playing the ball around nicely it get's to Dawson who catches a glimpse of something tall and useless out of the corner of his eye and then HOOF!!!!
It is boring and predictable and we need to do something about it.
Exactly on the money. Funny how apparently one person got to notice the look on Harry's face when BOTH goals were scored, when Sky Sports only showed a clip 30 seconds after he had scored his second.......who knows Harry may have been strumming his banjo and playing a bit of air guitar before the camera went to him.
I still cant believe some of the negative shit, on a day when we played extremely well on the worst pitch in about 25 years, I remember when it was cool to hate Arsenal and West Ham rather than your own players/manager.
Special mention to Pav today, I'm not his biggest fan by any stretch, but he showed brilliant composure and his movement was much better than Defoe's. And he looked so happy when he scored, which is very important. I think he even went to pat the badge when he scored the first......but I wont pull him up on the fact he actually got the Puma logo instead!
But well done Pav.
And well done Harry.
this time he can finish the job and, who knows, play much better at wembley this time round
He was trying to hold back a wry smile - it was a look to say, "triffik, he's done me up like a kippa! He's just done me right up! That's just bloody typical innit...bloooooody typical".
Watch motd and read my post whilst looking at his face when pav scores the second...you'll see.
Are there not rules about the quality of the pitch? Wigan should be fined for that surface. Unless they can reasonably prove there was no time to have the pitch re-laid.
