You do realize that Rodriguez and Osvaldo played LWF when playing with Lambert right? Only time Osvaldo played as a striker was when Lambert didnt play. I saw a fair bit and I dont ever remember seeing '2 up top' in the sense of an oldschool strike partnership.
I understand and I would play Bony in the main striker role and other strikers or attacking midfielders supporting him depending on the opposition. All our current strikers appear to be flexible even Soldado. Anyway looks like we need a homegrown player to fill this role as we already have 17 non homegrown and I would rather not lose anyone. So looks like Welbeck or Rodriguez in January are the best options.
Logical, we lack goals in the team, bottom line Bony scores them. Ade offers hold up play and that is about it, apart from the odd nice goal. Bony has the ability to hold it up, plus the quickness of feet to actually drop a shoulder and get a shot off.
Apparently Bony is really lazy though...
Again we've left ourselves with limited options for a problem we've had for 2 years.
