Please enlighten me on why players such as GKN, Janssen haven't been shipped out yet then? Surely out of the hundreds of clubs out there at least one would like them in their squad. I know why, Levy is looking for mega bucks for them when himself wouldn't even pay more than 5m for either of them because of their performances past season or two. He's demanding 2015 prices for incomings and 2018 prices for sales. Therefore the reason why we've found us in this HG mess is because of his reluctance to cut his losses on poor buys.

Because the clubs interested in purchasing them have another month to decide whether they want to buy them or not. They will wait till we can't buy and possibly have to sell and offer peanuts.

If you're going to blame anyone, blame the 17 clubs that voted for the English transfer window to end early (of which we were one of them)

We haven't raised the funds through sales to even contemplate making a bid in my opinion. Until there is a sale I have no expectations of buying anyone before next week. We're not going to suddenly spend 50-60m net when we've got a stadium to pay for, it's clearly just not going to happen.

If i was predicting I'd say it's likely we'll hold out for martial but end up with cash plus Shaw for Toby. Then we'll buy a CB with rest of that money, sell Rose and last minute try for Grealish again and likely miss out.

There is no magic money tree. We operate under tight financial constraints and have bought well in the circumstances. Our first 11 is pretty much as good as anyone so our signings can’t be that bad.
