Mail saying they are paying Meyer £170k a week!

That shit is not suatainable, then they are likely to add two more players on top of that in Ayew and Kouyate, both of whom are unlikely to want low wages. Just doesn't tie up with the manager saying a month ago they are suffering for the ongoing costs of past dealings.

Courtois to Madrid seems the worst kept secret in football, it's just stalling due to them sourcing a replacement. I wonder if they've agreed the same with Hazard and that's why the hype engine has slowed over him. If they've decided to push for Zaha due to homegrown status I can see them blowing us out on the fee eventually.

Maybe I'm wrong, but something doesn't seem right about this sudden flurry of activity by Palace. I know PL clubs are richer than ever but it doesn't comply with what Hodgson has said and also some of @Breezer posts on their financial situation earlier in the window.

There certainly seems to be some Chelsea fans talking about Wilf on twitter recently at least.

Without more info from Herc on why it's dead it's hard to speculate either way, stay, go elsewhere, or even for us to reignite our interest.

Maybe the Americans at Palace have just agreed to put some funds in.

I know odds on transfers can be weird but it's weird how much Chelsea have drifted. Suggests some info is involved on top of money movements (someone recently gave some info from inside a betting company to suggest as much).

We were told it had to be on their terms. If he went to Zaha and asked him to force it to give him leverage they might have told him to f--- off.

Difficult to say without more info. Someone else might have blown us out or Palace may have upped the price £20m overnight.

Yeah agree without the full info but on the ITK thread it was said that we had agreed with them maybe yes they upped the fee but maybe levy tried to push down again

Me either especially after the whole a deal is there for us if levy goes along with it..... makes me wonder how long we will enjoy this all before someone decides enough is enough and walks and a few follow.....

We need to hold out hope that they pull it out of the bag in the next 8 days and Levy has succeeded in killing ITK.

Because if everything that is going on has actually been shared, this really has been a shit show of a window!
