Anyone looking at the betting market on Zaha? In the past hour, there has suddenly been a massive shortening of the odds on him coming to Spurs. Best price now 13/8 (other layers going 5/4 and 6/4). Odds on him joining Chelsea are lengthening across the board.

Does someone know something?

Sort of see your point but I don't think it's a guide for anything as Poch is 60/1 to be next arsenal manager where as T Adams is 90/1 at PP!

If he really is off to Chelsea then Sky Bet are offering good value at 9/2 (5.5). They have us at 13/8 (2.63). The other main bookies are following a similar trend. I know which way I'd be tempted to bet.
I had no idea that’s how British odds worked. So you get the fraction of your stake back PLUS your initial stake. Learn something new every day.

European system is so much simpler.

It's the same system, just different way how to type the odds.

Anyaay, I still have hopes DL will make a big signing and Zaha would he the "simplier" choice.

I had a dream last night he'd signed for Everton, and in my dream I was thinking "fuck, best avoid reading the forum!" :ROFLMAO:

It's official: this window is screwing with my sleep!

I’ve been living (or is it dreaming?) an Inception like existence for the last few weeks. Cannot wait until Friday when I can start climatising to normal life. Unless that’s a dream too

Was a major factor during the EU referendum. Apparently in the near future decimal point odds were going to be enforced on us, whereas the public heavily backed the fractional system. Now we have control.

Fucking fractions. So you have to go around remembering what 7/4 and 8/5 and 9/6 etc etc is? Fuck that noise. Anyway, Zaha? Do we really need another winger? CM is prio for me.

I hear Daniel Levy forgot to take a totem, and is dreaming so deep he's into Mal's Limbo world; transfer deadline day is actually like 1 entire window to him.

He did find this fun little spinning top though, and has strictly agreed not to finalise a deal until it falls over

Much like last summer he'll be even more expensive next summer. If we want him move now. Same goes for Sessegnon, Grealish etc... the longer they remain at their current clubs their value will just continue to increase if the players keep producing. Zaha, Sessegnon and Grealish now for £150m is, ridiculously to say it, good business. And sorts HG quota.
That's not entirely accurate, in my opinion. Grealish has 2 years left on his contract. If he doesn't sign a new deal and Villa don't get promoted, next summer they will have to sell an unhappy player at a largely reduced fee or lose him for free at the end of the season.

And if either Fulham or Palace go down this year, they won't have as strong a negotiating hand as they currently have, with their star players wanting to stay in the Premier League.

Prices will continue to fluctuate though. £30m Zaha last summer. £60m this summer. Even of the above were to happen will prices drop that dramatically? Can't see it myself, but you never know.

You don't get the fraction of your stake back you get the multiplication back, 9/2 you bet £2 you get £9 back plus your stake money which was lways yours and only becomes the booky's if you lose, it's very simple.
I am a bit long in the tooth now and thanks to my Grandad I knew about the odds at five years old but I have to say the new system of decimalisation odds leaves me cold.
