It could be his last chance to play at a big club and in the CL, I think if we’re genuinely in for him he’ll force it to happen. I think he’s given them more than enough time now too and deserves a move. It was his fault for signing such a long term deal but I think he’s really given his all for a number of years now there.

Ooh, I like the idea of buying all the players who regularly play well against us. Bissouma, Richarlison, and now maybe Zaha? It’s exactly what Man Utd were so good at doing while Fergie was there.

I think he’d be a great signing for us. I also always sign him on FM, so if anyone has any doubts, he ends up replacing Son.

He's a fantastic player, would love us to get him. Huge upgrade on Moura.
Whilst I agree, Moura has always scored on big occasions and I just don’t mean the CL semi- away to Utd, citeh, barca. Not sure Zara has ever performed against the best. Not a dig at Zaha as he’s not been in the position to.

They'll be looking 30 minimum
I barely post on here anymore, not much since the glory days of Blue Mauvey et al. However the thought of Zaha joining spurs has got me tapping away like a nun in a frenzy. I’d love to see him at what I will always call The Lane. Get you out of your seat player.

Not sure who I prefer as Zaha doesn't solve any of the issues I think we have (lack of a creative wide man to pick up if Kane or Deki need a rest). He's another direct player who also seems to only really play off the left. With that said, he is likely going to be cheaper than some of the other options, is homegrown and better than Traore.

Should be no wing back talk in this thread. Van Gaal tried to force him to be a wing back at United and he outright wasn't having it.
Im not sure he ever played for Van Gaal at Utd as he was loaned out to Cardiff when Van Gaal was manager

I did a check and Zaha scored 14 last season in the PL, which is only 5 fewer than Moura has in total for us in the PL - and in a considerably worse team.

Last season Zaha scored against Brighton, Spurs, City, Wolves, Saints, Norwich, Watford, Leicester, Arsenal, United. And everyone in the cup. And again, in not a great side.

Last season Moura scored against Norwich and Palace in the league. That's it, two goals. And in cups, against Vitesse, Morecambe, Burnley and West Ham.

I don't think so. I think if he really wants to play for a big club, he sees out his contract this year and then signs with any team he chooses on big wages.

I get he’s scored more goals but it doesn’t make him a big game player. I think he has more ability than Moura, but Moura rises to the occasion - we’ve never seen that with Zaha

Not like Crystal Palace have had the chance to play big occasions, tbf.

But this proposition just isn't borne out by the facts, at least for last season. Moura rose to the occasion twice, and against poor teams. Zaha scored seven times as many goals, and some against the league's big sides: Spurs, Arsenal, City, United. Surely Zaha rose to the occasion in those games? No, he didn't score in the dying seconds of a CL semi, but that was a freak game.

So Moura has only scored twice in big matches? And Ajax, Barca, Man Utd, Citeh are poor. Ok mate fair enough I can’t compete with that

I think Zaha will be a great addition to the squad and with Conte wanting Zaniolo, it’s obvious what type of player he’s after
