Realistically though, can’t see this happening

doubt the interest is that strong on our behalf and it’s probably a deal we needed to approach earlier in the summer if want the player. I’m sure he’d be keen on coming but it’s unlikely he’s gonna force a move Fofana style and Palace don’t need or want to sell.

Be an easy pass for me on Zaha, he is an alright player but I don’t think he gets us where we need to go. Third will be tough, but even more than that Conte is going to want a genuine tilt at the title and build for that. I don’t think Zaha is good enough for those ambitions and so if possible I would personally attempt to spend that money on better talents if we can identify them.

I don't think we have a concrete first eleven anymore once the new signings get to grips with Conte's system/demands.

So if we're genuinely in for him I'd doubt we'd be pitching it as come and sit on our bench.
