What's new

Will our players show that they give a toss about the NLD ?

We've all had plenty of practice at being on the losing side of this fixture .

It's bad but bearable so long as we come away with our pride intact .

A Tottenham team which can't rise to the occasion is unworthy of the name .

Even in Tottenham's depths it's least talented players have understood that .

Do you expect our players will compete hard for every ball from the off ?

Do you expect they will bust a gut for 90 minutes ?

Do you expect to see from their faces that they are taking it personally if we lose ?

Just another game to them, no different from any other. It is of importance to supporters but I don't believe the players have felt it is anything other than a normal game for decades.

On the other side, players like Szezcsny and that **** Wilshere seem to get what its all about strangely enough.

It's good that Arsenal still have players like Wilshere who are ***** .

Even though they have moved stadium and changed players they have still managed to retain their identity .

I fear you are right about our team . They seem to treat the F.A. Cup with contempt too .

Kaboul, Rose, Bentaleb, Mason, Kane, Lennon, Townsend, Naughton, Ade.
Weve got MUCH bigger problems than i realised if we cant get up for this one....

So far in our 5 games we have had 3 yellow cards and 1 red (for a stupid handball) I just think we lack any players with a bit of bite to them. It suggests that we aren't challenging the opposition when they are in possession.

Honestly what players do we have that are capable of giving it a bit of fight?!

I cant think of anyone in our current set up with the balls for this fixture.

The problem is they have much better players than us now and sadly we cant compete with them on a footballing level so for us to get anything from this fixture we are going to have to beat them for effort and fight. This isnt going to happen.

There are very few players I actualy like in this team and mostly think they are lazy and soft.

Dreading Saturday like most spurs fans I fear.

Ade definately does, especially considering his history he should definately want to put one over the Scum.

Needs to earn his "Spurs" (see what I did there;)) as Vice Captain and get them all fired up !!!

He would be the one exception to my thoughts on it. However even he is looking at it from a greater distance than he used to. The Scum fans don't seem to be interested in taking the piss out of him for leaving their wonderful team.
