Firstly, mods, please feel free to merge this poll with the other threads and chuck this message in somewhere. I'm well aware we don't need multiple ST threads, but here's the reason for the poll:

We're a big bunch here on SC with lots of fans from all walks of life. The interesting thing is, I, like many others expected a price rise but not so much on the cheaper seats. Personally, I am fortunate enough to go for some of the pricier options anyway, but like everyone else, I worry about the atmosphere. What we say and moan about or discuss is different from what we'll actually do though.

Having said that, just because people have money, doesn't mean they won't make some noise, but the groups being split up is woeful. I do like the glass enclosure in the lower area of the Kop though to enclose the sound. (Have a look on the 3d seat viewer.)

I thought it would be wise to provide a few extra options to really get a true feeling of what fans are really going to do.

These all seem a little skewed to the fact that everyone is unhappy.

Exactly what I was thinking.

Could add numerous positive options, like;

I'm just happy to be able to buy one with 50k people waiting
I'm glad we have a shiney new £850,000,000 stadium, a top squad, champions league football (hopefully)
I'll sit where my budget allows and this isn't a problem for me

Hopefully the price hike will just get rid of some of the more ardent moaners among our fans so that match days can be a little more positive.

How are people gonna be able to afford to take their kids? The place is going to turn into a library, full of rich bods who don't understand the meaning of vocal support!! Incidently, I won't have a season ticket as I haven't been able to afford one since 2002.

If I'm being honest, I'm not bothered about myself on a personal level. On a general note, the prices are perhaps £100 more on average for each given section than I personally expected. I'm envisioning Toby suddenly signing a new contract in June for example and that will really take some sting out.

Too late for me to edit the poll, but point taken. I guess they all have a negative tone, which probably DOES reflect what I personally believe to be the view of most fans, even if it's not directly my view (bar my concerns about atmosphere).

Yep, definitely should have been an option or 2 along the lines of:

Just happy to get in and will get where I can afford / a really good seat / mid range etc etc.

I think, in fairness, the main intention of the poll was more to ascertain what people will do given their individual financial circumstance to really answer the question:

How much am I really willing to put into Spurs given my circumstance? At what point is level X taking the absolute piss / really great for me and makes me adjust / choose my resulting action when it really comes down to it?

Hopefully from an entirely selfish point of view, the stereotypical working class fan will pay a bit extra to sing in our new kop, but that's entirely selfish. I don't wish any financial difficulty on anyone at all in reality. Or maybe everyone is absolutely loaded as predominantly southern and London based people (to massively generalise) and we're all just moaning for a giggle. I make no judgements! (I realist I'm speaking in silly extremes here). No idea what the rest of the ground is going to be like outside the south. The prices are more of a mystery as to the type of fan they will attract. I'm not a fan either of the view that just because some people can afford pricey seats, they won't create atmosphere.

So you associate those with money as people with no affiliation to football and that they're not proper fans?

May be, just may be, some, a small fraction, of those born into an almost royal lifestyle may not get. But there are plenty of people with a lot more money than you and I that are bigger better fans than we'll ever be.
There is such a thing you know as reverse snobbery and it's no better than the rich looking down on the poor.

I'll be working off of 2 criteria - what I can afford and where I want to sit.

I want to be "in that number" IE the south stand. But I won't be able to justify the £1,200 tickets unless I get a pleasant surprise at salary review next week.
Then I have to consider that I'll be in the very last window - if there's nothing left in the south for under a grand I'll have to take what I can get or find more money.
Most likely there won't be anything in the south at all come the 8th window and I'll just buy what ever is cheapest elsewhere :ROFLMAO:

For the record - I'd pay more than I can afford for a lively atmosphere in the South stand. But I would begrudge spending 4 figures to get a bunch of old whinge bags sat around me moaning all match about prices, how we don't play fast enough etc etc etc. The prat behind me at Wembley doesn't stop going on about bloody referees all match. He'll be moaning we didn't get a penalty even if we scored from a free kick.

May as well go the whole hog and get the 1882 option. May as well have some luxury at my age if I'm going to get mugged for 19 football matches. I just hope the ground staff are all wearing masks and striped jumpers to go with the rest of their thieveing bastardry.

Or alternatively, having the most expensive tickets in world football with make those that do go that much more entitled, and therefore even more moany.

You make out as if ALL our tickets are the most expensive tickets in the world. That's not the case is it. There's a small portion of available tickets that cost more yes, but the average price across the stadium hasn't even been calculated because that would require work rather than just jumping to conclusions.

I thought it was just me that attracted the 'the ref is the devil incarnate as a gooner' types sat somewhere behind me. :D Maybe this is set to continue whether we're all set to pay a quid or a million!

Chose the bottom option as it most applies to me. I'll renew begrudgingly if there's somewhere left below £1,000, although I'll probably try to sell some of the lower-end games on the exchange. If the price means there's little or no atmosphere though I will seriously honestly not renew for 19/20.

While annoying, the price rise for me is'nt as much as it is for others and roughly inline with what I was expecting, so I'll certainly be renewing my ST in the same area as before.

What’s the average jump 30% ? And this is slightly skewed by the east stand as it had to be brought inline and the 1882 which is half a corporate package. In reality I was expecting 20% I’ve actually got 25%. Personally think the fuss is overboard. For most it’s £20 a week to watch the team i love playing superb football in a fantastic stadium. I honestly can’t believe anyone was expecting less than a 20% rise.

I took up a season ticket for the first time this year, mainly because I was told it would guarantee me a seat in the new stadium. I was around 40,000th on the waiting list, and as such, hadn't saved or accounted for this unexpected opportunity, so I chose one of the cheaper seats at Wembley, up in the gods, for £675.

I didn't expect my season ticket at NWHL to be any cheaper than my current seat, nor did I expect to be able to pick a seat before those who have had a season ticket for far longer than me. What I did expect is for the club to recognise that there are a significant portion of the ~40,000 current season ticket holders who bought ~£700 season tickets at Wembley, of which a large number will have been first time season ticket holders. I expected the club to realise therefore, that a lot of fans who bought the cheapest seats at Wembley were, in their phasing system, going to be some of the last with the opportunity to purchase season tickets at NWHL, by which time it's highly likely the majority of the cheapest seats will have already been sold.

If I was even able to get a comparative seat, location wise, to mine at Wembley, the price would rise from £675 to £975, a rise of nearly 45%. The likelihood, in my opinion, is that all of the <£1000 seats will have been sold by the time it comes to my turn to buy, so in all probability i'll be paying over 50% more to renew.

There will be thousands in exactly the same position as me and I wouldn't be at all surprised if a lot don't take up the option to renew.

I will renew in a similar seat to where I was sitting at the proper WHL

I am not happy and I cannot really justify the price but I've been going since 1974 man and boy so they've got me by the bollox. (For now!)

Maybe I won't be able to renew as there might be very little left but with the increased capacity and the chance to share tickets I might be able to get to some games. Will just have to sit it out and wait until phase 7
