Anyone think Dawson's place might be under threat now? I can easily imagine Gallas partnering/mentoring Kaboul on the occasions when King is injured. Kaboul seems like a faster more skilful version of Dawson to me.

Here's a question.

What's on the agenda next time we play the Goons and they start giving to him? Back him or whack him?

After all we made a concerted effort to abuse Scumbell for years.

Gallas deal agreed

We are delighted to announce the signing of William Gallas on a one year deal.

The France international was part of the Chelsea side that won back-to-back Premier League titles as well as the League Cup in 2005. His performances during Chelsea's second Premier League-winning campaign saw him included in the 2005/06 PFA Premier League Team of the Year.

The former Caen and Marseille defender, 33, left Stamford Bridge after five seasons, during which he made 213 appearances and scored 14 goals, to join Arsenal in September 2006. Gallas captained the side during the 2007/08 campaign and went on to make 145 appearances, scoring 17 goals before leaving at the end of last season.

Good, potentially great piece of business. I hope those that dislike the guy will at least bite their tongue for now and judge him on what he says and does in our colours.

Good signing. Hope he stays fit (both physically and mentally) for the season ahead.

Is he first player to have signed for Spurs, Chelscum and the Arse?

Very pleased about this. We're crying out for top-class experience, he's a perfectionist, has been massively successful so commands respect, and he'll have something to prove to the Gooners. Doesn't work out or he starts being a pain in the arse? We cut our losses and pack his bags, one-year deal and all. Don't see a downside really, and the upside could be very, very good.

Interesting that he turned down a one-year deal and yet has accepted on from us...

He's a good player, someone like Harry will be able to put up with his loonyness too.

Use French accent when reading:

Gallas to agent: " I want more money, get me a new deal with these peasants!"
Agent to Gallas:" Ok Big Willie. I will ask them"
Agent to Arsenal: "Moiusour Gallas would like a new contract please. shall we say 120K per week?"
Arsenal to agent: " No chance he is old and shit!"
Agent to Arsenal: " Ok Mr smarty pants! Well I will tell my client but I assure you he will Not be 'appy!
Agent to Gallas: "They think you are merd!"
Gallas to Agent: "Ow dare they! We shall strike back immediatley! Pretend to the press I am going to join Totteham, That will scare them into a deal!!"
Agent to Gallas: "Whatever you say Willie!"

Never call him a Yiddo. Yiddo is a term of endearment that can not be felt for anyone who has worn that shirt of which we do not speak.
